AI says tengen is only 1 point worse than other moves, I bet it hardly makes a difference to humans, way bigger swings happen all the time in the middle game. I wish pros could become a bit detached and start playing different stuff, it would make watching them much more enjoyable.

В отличие от шахматистов, которые просчитывают позицию на 20-30 ходов вперед в нескольких вариантах. Меня удивляет, что для Про игроков становится неожиданностью каждый 3-й ход противника, который можно было увидеть 3 хода назад.
