Their band name "LOVEBITES" is derived from "LOVEBITES (SO DO I)" of "Halestom". They didn't want to be bound by heavy metal stereotypes such as "dark clothes and decadent lyrics", and defined themselves as "something like a lone wolf". Further BTW, Asami (the singer) used to be an R'n'B/soul vocalist, and they have a few tracks with a little influence from that. Iron Maiden and Metallica are definitely big influences. I am very happy that you decided to go beyond Babymetal and take an additional step into the world of Japanese rock/metal. Lovebites is an excellent band to start your journey. The band currently has a catalog of almost 50 songs, all but a handful of which were written by a bandmember. The band was founded in 2016 by the bassist, Miho, who is a huge Steve Harris fan. A great deal of the success is due to her vision and ability to recruit some amazing talent to join the band. Thunder Vengeance is one of her songs. Sadly, about a year ago, she decided to leave the band. Lovebites announced a temporary hiatus. Earlier this year, they announced they were accepting auditions for a new bassist. I am expecting the announcement of a new bassist before the end of this month. One of the musicians brought in by Miho is the guitarist Miyako. She is normally on stage left and is, by far, the least animated member on stage. My guess is she has that combination of being both an introvert and a perfectionist. The other guitarist, Midori, is a bigtime extrovert but probably also a perfectionist. Miyako is the primary songwriter, having written over 40% of their songs. Unlike the other members, Miyako writes her songs totally alone. She has an extensive classical background which shows in her songwriting. She is as good on the piano/keyboard as she is on the guitar. Going forward, Miyako will be the clear musical leader of the band. Miho and Miyako cowrote one song together and sadly it will likely be their only one. The song is Break the Wall and I suggest that be your next song. After that, you should experience a Miyako song. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Always nice seeing a new reactor to the greatest metal band out there, Lovebites. They have modernized late 70s through the 80s metal. You nailed the key word - influence. They pull from so many bands and genres to create their own unique genre IMO. All elite level performers. I have a comment regarding your reaction style as I am new to your channel. I fully understand the copyright issues all you reactors face on KZfaq. I have seen watermarks before and it doesn't effect my viewing pleasure. Many reactors use pauses (only gripe is pausing during a solo) which is OK as long as not every 10 seconds. It was distracting the switchovers to just you throughout the reaction, for anywhere from a few to 10 seconds or so. Honestly you're the first I've seen use that style of reaction, and it's disappointing watching your reaction but not seeing what you are reacting to. Just my .02.

Wolfpack is here for LOVEBITES! You got a small taste of what they can do. GET READY. It's going to take you awhile to process this band. Research their backgrounds. It will all make sense to you. Keep going. Many more amazing songs for you to check out! Lovebites can do it all. Their most obvious sound is classic Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, and even Slayer. But they go beyond all of this. Hard for me to recommend songs, because almost everything they do is a grand slam. Whatever mood you are in, they have songs for it. Emotional ballads like "Epilogue", to ripping your face off with "Winds Of Transylvania". Maybe check out "Holy War" next. Do the live one from Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020. The twin guitar team of Midori and Miyako are the future of metal. You will see! Our goddesses from Japan are 1000% LEGIT. What an introduction huh? I hope you experience more of Lovebites because you only opened a can of whoop-ass in your face, blow your mind, and melt your face with the metal band of the century. They have 50+ songs and 3 covers and every single song will leave you speechless, there is no other band that is better than Lovebites, yes there are some good bands that do deserve some exposure but at the same time there are a lot of garbage out there doesn't come close to what these ladies are doing has done and will do! I to say the same about the influences of Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Dream Theater but they put their own spin on a lot of their riffs and solos that are incomparable. Keep going and find out just how addicting they become, the more you listen and check them out the more you will want. There are a lot of bogus reactors that are so damn fake about their reactions with Lovebites that they end up getting stuck with some of the crappiest crap in the rock world and it's a crying shame as they fall into the mainstream and algorithm of what is being pushed by social media it's very disgusting, I end up leaving them all and find new reactors. Any song you chose is fine with me and continue on and rock hard. Many will tell you to do Holy War next and it is a song that is overplayed by many of those fake reactors, if I give a request of what they are capable of it would be their masterpiece "Edge of the World" one of thier more progressive songs very much like Dream Theater kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i8Caq7Cbp9XUZ6s.html
