Just so that everybody knows bouth are legally counted as bait because they bouth use scent to attract fish among many outher reasons. DO NOT USE THESE IN ARTIFICIAL WATER

I don’t use a net; although I like how you don’t touch the fish. Must be a specially made net. I just bring the trout close enough to where I can touch them and just grasp the barbless hook and the trout turns it’s head and swims off. Works on trout, steelhead and salmon. You do a nice job so I like what you’re doing. I just thought of sharing my way that I’ve learned. Keep tight lines!!

Fun videos. I use 2 pound tippet, barbless hooks and can cast that setup on a fly rod setup. I would use a rod 3 to 5 weight.

No, you can't use them. Molded artificial facsimile eggs are a no-no. With all the available artificial lures that slay trout, why would you want to risk getting caught by a warden with these eggs? They definitely have their place in general regs waters, though

Primarily used as a broad term for what depth the fish are swimming in. For example a couple inches from the surface is considered "high in the water column". Or up against the bottom is the "bottom of the water column".
