More Legendaries against small Pokémon. Mewtwo is one of the ones that appear. Chansey's HP is tested. That and more feature in today's episode of the 1v1 Metronome Tournament.

Houndoom vs. Pelipper
Entei vs. Rattata
Elekid vs. Mewtwo
Solrock vs. Sharpedo
Chansey vs. Latias
Machop vs. Kadabra

The other 243 Pokémon are in Bracket B. The winners of both brackets will battle to decide the ultimate champion.

@@pikabrook3724 I'm not modding anything in. You can use the local wireless connectivity of the DS and Wii to send your Pokémon to the game.

I legitimately cannot believe that Latias pulled both Stockpile AND Spit Up in the same battle to win. Against the Luck pokemon of all things. That was super hype.

It'sa very unlikely combo, and somehow it worked out. I had expected Chansey to last a lot longer, but that Belly Drum cost her.

Incredibly hype that we got stockpile into spit up in a match, I've been waiting for something like that for a while. In other news Machop destroying Kadabra with what I can only assume is out of control foot fungus is on brand for some of the people I've met at the gym

Yeah, that combo is very rare to work.

Entei used Swagger. That doubled Ratatta’s attack, so when its confusion ended, Crush Grip dealt more damage than usual. Also, Crush Grip deals more damage the more HP the target has. Entei was at full health. So it dealt maximum damage, AND Ratatta is a normal type so it got STAB from that. Awesome!

Rattata OKOing entei was pretty hype. I was like "how is he gonna deal with ingrain" turns out...didnt matter lol

Ingrain ay full health in an overall good base stat Pokémon, that's a scary prospect.

Dude what’s wild to me is Houndoom vs Pelipper had the exact moves nearly beat per beat as Arcanine vs Shroomish.

Latias calling Stockpile on the first turn and then getting Spit Up for the win was wild. I'm no good at math, but the odds of that happening have to at least be unlikely.

If you believe hard enough, you can achieve anything. I loved that turn. I'm really rooting for the small Pokémon in this Tournament, especially when they're against Legends and other high BST Pokémon.

Most of the Pokemon in this tournament have around 200 HP, usually less, a few more, but Chansey having 476 HP is going to stick out like a sore thumb. But, with that low attack and defense...

She took surprisingly low amount of damage from physical moves. That Belly Drum really did not work at all.
