This movie is actually the response to all those people who say that Akshay doesn't focus on acting or only does films for money!!! Whenever he works with good directors like Neeraj Pandey and Shankar, he leaves an impression as an actor . His acting and the song "nanhi si jaan"😍😍

We don't say that Akshay Kumar is a bad actor, on the contrary, he is a REALLY GOOD actor. But the thing is, when he drops in movie after movie (esp as in 2022), even dropping in period classics like Samraat Prithviraj within a couple of months, his performance doesn't come out as well as it should be. For some movies, time and personal efforts are essential, which mean that a schedule should be moved back. That is what we say to Akshay Kumar sir: Please relax your schedule a bit, give some more time (especially if the movie is a big project), and see the results for yourself.

2.0 is one of the greatest 3d films ever made... Most of the shots in this movie was filmed with 3d in mind. My favourite is Evil Chitti final shootout. And also both Endhiran and 2.0 had OSTs that are light years ahead of Indian audience.

People say Akshay don't give as much days and effort to complete his movies....but this movie took 200 days to shoot...he gives days where the character requires more days to complete....imagine film like rakshabandhan or selfie takes 100 days of shoot where it was not needed.....

Once again thank you so much Syntell and Andrew for doing this movie reaction, you guys are literally the super best when it comes to films like these, especially with Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar 👌🏻😁🤘🏻 Also I am not sure if you guys noticed, but the actors when they were filming the movie, they were speaking in their own respective languages, if you look at their lips and read: Akshay Kumar aka Pakshi Rajan the film’s villain, Adil Hussain aka Minister Vijay Kumar, Sudanshu Pandey aka Dhinendra Bohra were speaking Hindi. Whereas Rajnikanth aka Vaseegaran/Chitti/Kutti, Amy Jackson aka Nila, Ishari K. Ganesh aka Jayanth Kumar and other supportive actors were speaking Tamil. Despite the language barrier, they were able to film the movie with respect to language and understand each other and give proper response accordingly 👌🏻❤️😁 Also, there’s another irony and fate. Like Father Like Son: Just like how Dr. Bohra (from the first film, played by Danny Denzongpa) created and unleashed Chitti 2.0 as the villain and got himself killed by him. Same thing happens with the son: he freed the villain, Pakshi, only to be killed by him, which you guys will obviously see in Part 3 of your reaction. That’s the fateful irony there of father and son duo. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The more I watch this movie, I realize that there is a more diegetic reason why the red chip made sense and would not be as destructive as in Enthiran: 1. Chitti's anger in part 1 was focused on human society in general because it denied him his love interest Sanaa. Here, Chitti's love interest has moved on to Nila, and there is no restriction towards him. So he is bound to be less aggressive toward humans in general. 2. Chitti was extremely unwilling to injure Dr. Vaseegaran, even at the cost of letting Pakshi Rajan run amok, because he cared for Vaseegaran. The Red Chip Chitti doesn't have such moral conundrums, as his morality gets suppressed with the red chip. This means he would be easily willing to attack Vaseegaran and end Pakshi Rajan. 3. The villain was an external villain, and a singular entity, which Chitti could completely focus on eradicating, compared to the general animosity against humans in the first movie. So Chitti was less likely to attack people just for the sake of attacking people. However, these points were simplified way too much in this storyline. The Red Chip was supposed to suppress the morality of Chitti and let his anger and revenge take over his feelings. There was a lot of potential for collateral damage and friendly fire, and in the final fight scene, none was shown. It kind of dampened the raw aggression that the Red Chip Chitti of Part 1 had. That is the only thing I didn't like about this movie, it was too external, rather than having a character arc for Chitti to evolve and develop.

honestly this movie was kinda trash from a storywriting point lol. cgi and effects are all cool but there was just something about the grounded version of the first movie that this movie lacked and why i didnt enjoy it as much

In the first movie, there was a character growth and development for Chitti, where he grows from a traditional robot to one with feelings, and its own feelings clashing with its purpose (when it fell in love with Sanaa), and the red chip unlocking its rage and suppressing its morality, making it into the lethal killing machine. In fact, at the end of the first movie, as Chitti dismantles itself, it even reflects on its own character growth, saying that gaining feelings became a huge problem for everyone involved. Coming to this movie, it was too simplistic, where there was no specific character growth of Chitti, and a straightforward confrontation, with no subtle conflict or twist. Thus, the story felt weak and didn't have much impact compared to the first movie. However, the VFX are indeed well done, and all the other parts of the movie fall properly into place, so it is a good movie overall.

@@tellonted I did watch Interstellar, and in my opinion, Interstellar is the Platinum standard for making science fiction movies: THE ULTIMATE movie in terms of set designs, lighting, sound effects, practical + CGI effects, scientific accuracy, and an emotional track running in parallel to the science track. It set the benchmark for sci-fi movies for times to come.

I wouldn't say so.. Maybe calling it the fifth force of nature was a bit much, but they are not too far off. If we can accept aliens/zombies and other mythological creatures in our stories, surely human life essence, which is very real thing is not that far from the realm of possibility. Hell the movie is set in a world where people can program controlled feelings in Robots. Vaseegaran is basically a God in human form. He is creating Life. So I think accepting soul energy shouldn't be that big of an issue
