When did Bob get angry and overheat?

Hi Mark, the day we got him. We were about a mile down the road after the purchase and lost all power, engine conked out. Turned out the rad had decided to eject it's innards and Bob cooked. He was still running remarkably well though . There are some more engine issues coming up soon!

When we collected him on the way home his radiator burst, unfortunately due to other issues we couldn't see the temp and he overheated badly. He was recovered and once we added water started up perfectly like nothing had happened, just goes to show how good these engines are.

@@rustenuts Good thing is that the parts are the cost rather than thousands in labour charges and you can leave Bob in a pile of bits and the wife is not annoyed with the mess.

Ho hum. Shame you have to do this work, but it'll be much healthier afterwards. I suppose it might be back to a bit of chassis work while waiting for the parts etc?

Hey hey! We have quite a few bits in the pipeline. We have axle strip and rebuild, certain bits of the block can be built...we had some more engine woes which you will see in upcoming vids, and bulkhead repairs. We also need to strip the tub off of the donor vehicle. It's all GO!! I agree though, we will have a really good engine once it's all done 👍🏻
