I think X-Factor has to be the thing with the most volatile difference between the teams, and that goaltending. Gorgiev still need up roughly league average in goalie stats so he can be decent which gives the Aves a chance. If he doesn’t show up even with Annunen who has double the GSAx with like 1/4 the games played coming in, the hole may already be too deep. Runner up X-Factor is 81-55. They have been much better of late. But if they regress to their historic performance while still getting 16-18 mins of 5v5 a night, Aves would be salivating with their top 5v5 GF/60 in the league.

X-factors. Avs goaltending if they can get .900 or better from that pair it potentially negates the Jets biggest advantage. Coaching especially adjustments always key in a potential 7 game series. Jets PK more penalties are called in the first four games of the first round. Jets fourth line gotta have fourth line showup and get some greasy goals to push that depth advantage. Just have a feeling Iafallo is gonna score some key goals in the playoffs he goes to the hard areas and has a great motor. I am hopping on a plane and have a ticket for tuesday nights game excited for my first Jets home game / whiteout.

Hey guys.. great show and nice to hear Colby's analysis on the Avs... I think Jets will pull off the series win in 5 or 6 games. Biggest X-factor for me is I want to see what that 2nd line with Ehlers/Monahan and Toffoli do... I think they will be impact players in this series and I think they are underestimated in skill by many.

My X factor is Nino, the Lowery line will not only have to play a shut down role, but they need to score a few as well. I think Nino breaks out with 2-3 goals in the series

Hey seriously feel like you guys don’t seem to realize that oh yeah, if Vilardi was playing a full season then maybe he would get like 40 something goals which is similar to what Rantanen is not to mention Kyle Connor, you guys sure don’t think highly of your own team as much as I thought you would kind of disappointed have to say , oh yeah, look at all the rookies we have that are coming up. This team is rock solid for a long time.

I don’t believe that McKinnon against schiefele line is a mismatch because first of all Connor is not playing like he did when he was coming back from injury. He’s back to the old Connor, so that line will be a lot better and we haven’t really had that line together with Villardi for a large sample size so I think your Calculations are a little bit off on that one

I would be lying if said that i am not a little concerned sbout Hellebucks total playoff record with the Jets , its not good . While its true that he faced a shooting gallery against the Avs the other night , he did allow a couple of goals he should have had . i would have no problem putting Brossoit in tonite , Brossoits play- off record is good .
