Depends on how you mount the antennas on the model. You need to think about making sure that they are lined up as much as possible. TBS talked to me about vertical being a good choice..

Well a lot, the SWR screen, I had no clue about what could I guess from the graph. Your precision on the Noise downlink screen is very useful too, the fact that the TX can get info from the crossfire for the alerts. I always put my receiver antenna horizontal and not vertical... and I was thinking that the micro RX antenna should be strait up and down and not with a 90 degree angle (flying wing setup), so thanks a lot and looking forward for the next video :)

It says 300 until you go not that far, then it drops to 100, then slowly goes down to about 40 or 50 then it's very unstable, uplink would always completely drop out bofore downlink. And power level didn't change it that much. I'm not sure what the osd says during this I was just reading the back of the unit while driving. Going through like 25-50 houses. I'm not exactly sure but I played with it alot and the only consistant thing that made it go from 300 lq to 100- lq was when lq for both uplink and downlink were below 280. I had uplink below 150 with down still at 300 and visa versa. I tried forced telemetry and numbers went up but the light wouldn't go green/bind. Oh and the 915 mhz had significantly better numbers than 868 at distance, but 868 had better numbers closer. 😕😕

The differences are covered in this series and the LUA script performs the same function as the screen on the full sized one for the MicroTx. Hope that helps.. happy flying!

@@Painless360 I really appreciate the quick response. Managed to work it out by plugging the fC in and running the kiss gui. For some reason the arm switch had been changed to aux 2 when it had been aux1 previously causing to not arm.

You receive basic signal telemetry from the receiver only if you're not using CRSF on the far end. You need that bi-directional feature of CRSF from the FC to get all the extra telemetry back from Betaflight (V3.3 needed for full support)..

I'll show more of that in the next video if it'll help. To be honest the setup LUA scripts on the OpenTX radios and the menus on the Tango are almost identical. The big change will come with 3.2/3.3 where the full directional support in BF will be implemented. Then we'll have full control over everything from the radio - Crossfire, Receiver, Betaflight settings.. (Inset evil laugh here

With respect, CRSF is a protocol designed by Team BlackSheep and championed through the TBS CROSSFIRE remote control system. Multiple systems such as Crossfire, ExpressLRS and Tracer all can use versions of the CRSF protocol. Hence my question.

The video signal will start to break up and get lots of noise in the image. If you watch video of long range flights some of them show what happens to the signal as you approach the ‘edge’ of the FPV range.. using diversity and sensitive, directional antennas with sensitive FPV reciever will help a lot..

Not sure, I've not used that board here. Maybe check that the servos move if connected to the ESC output to see if it's working at all? Maybe a power issues - is everything getting the power it needs? Best of luck!

+Eric V choose LQ in one of the output channels in the receiver and select that channel as the RSSI channel in Betaight as normal.. eat of luck!

Simply configure two of the connections on the receiver as MAVLINK , and put those into the telemetry port connections on the flight controller. Simple. Best of luck!

+Steve Maratea yep, Ch5 in the RSSI setting is AUX1 in the channel list. There is work to improve the rssi-LQ pieces for use with things like Betaflight, I'll share as I get more detail..

Cause if i look on the telemetry screen thats the one closest to 99%lq when im right next to quad. Or is it the 1RSS or 2RSS. And what value shpuld i have it warm me at?.. thanks so much

Depends on what trainer port you have on that one.. You'll have to use that port with the supplied cable and settle for PPM to the module..

Painless360 i did that before. Unfortunately it didn't work. Then i downgraded to 2.06 cause in another video somebody said it needs to be 2.06. btw i have the tbs micro.

Update for everyone. I bought a x9d (telemetry bug no problem anymore) and the main problem was that on the wizard x220 (sp racing F3 board) you need to wire CH1 on the backside of the board to ppm. So you back to ppm instead to CRSF. but hey , you get flying . Thanks for your help anyways! :)

Not that I know of other than when you got it. I got mine when they were first coming out and barely anyone had them in stock. I think it was in Feb.

+SgtP The MAVLink support on the crossfire is fantastic. In fact it was one of the first things the Crossfire was used for, very long range control of MAVlink capable flight controllers. So you can do pretty much anything with it :)

+SgtP GST the full size one not the mini. You can share the MAVlink data over the inbuilt Bluetooth module and then connect anything to that BT link (tablet running Mission Planner for example)..

Painless360 Absolutely! The full size is on the list. The MAVlink/Bluetooth feature is one of the main reasons I'm looking into it, which I understand is not available with the micro version.
