In the video I say 65 watts, but I mean 65 amps...
Today Im seeing some really interesting things happening with my. I have been producing full power on my solar array thanks to a cloud edge effect. 65 Amps plus the house which normally draws 5 or 6 amps is 70 - 71amps. That is more than the rated output of my solar panels!
We are building a passive solar homestead and planning a big permaculture food forest, mandala veggi garden, swimming pond and much more!

Solar is one of the few techs I've observed in life where results most often beat expectations. That first day of tying everything in and turning system on is a dream.

At least you're getting some cloud edge effects -- been very grey here solidly now for days. But I know when I do get a cloud edge effect here I have seen up to 115A going into the batteries, same as you that's after the loads are taken into account.

Adam Kuklych WoW! 115amps from how many panels?

Remember I am at 12V so halve the amps to bring it up to 24V. So just under 60A. Which is about right given I am running 2140W of panels.

do you have a estimate on what you spent on you solar system ? This looks like it would work for me except you probably get more sun than I do. I live in Pa

yes, it cost around 12000 euro... but you could do it for a lot cheaper now. maybe 2/3rds of the price or less. I would also go 48v and lithium ion batteries, they have no maintenance, dont off gas and take up really little room. you could basically have your solar setup in a cupboard.
