Take note that I have a 1.5" lift kit. If I had a larger lift kit it is likely that the driveshaft would not rub the exhaust as the driveshaft would be at a steeper angle. Best of luck!

I bought the same Kit for my 99 2.5, they claimed it was a direct fit for 91 to 06...... after modifying the intake, modifying the tubes and adding four inches of wire to the O2 sensor it was in. Oh and the gasket I felt was junk so bought a dependable Fel-pro.But honestly after all the headache I did see a noticeable increase in torque wheeling and it really growls with my MBRZ exhaust

Ok I have a few notes after doing this as well 1: just buy a new oxygen sensor. They're 20 bucks and it's worth the time saved if the old one is rust welded. 2: WATCH YOUR WIRES. my wire harness was resting on the exhaust flange but luckily I spotted the smoke in time. I wasn't so lucky with the crankshaft position sensor, and that was an $80 mistake. The whole apparatus takes up a lot more space than the stock manifold. 3: I have a 3 inch lift and my front driveshaft has not rubbed so far 4: I paired this with a flowmaster cat and force II cat back. I love the sound. It has a nice rumble and the drone is drowned out by jeepy road noise. Don't expect your butt dyno to notice a power gain though. All in all In think these headers are a great value at $130. You will need an angler grinder to slot out that back hole. Don't waste your time with a drill.

I'm also missing that lower back bolt. Stock manifold did not leak without it.

How did doubling up on your gaskets work out over time? Did you have to re-tighten after a few drives at operating temp?

Well we must've bought the same header; mine hits the driveshaft too. I relief cut the engine side like lead notching a tree, bent it, checked it, then welded it up. I don't think that little bit of angle and restriction I created will hurt this horsepower churning engine!! Lol

What did y’all do about the down steam 02 sensor mine never worked right after I installed mine?

How's that header holding up with being wrapped? also did you notice any gains or is it just a cool factor?

Plan 2 would've worked but you need to pull past your goal and loose the map gas, oxy acetylene instead.

Where’s the link for the header? I have a 94 YJ with the 2.5 and a auto. Current I’m on a 4in lift with 33 12.50s. I’m going to do the 5.3 down the road I’m watching all your videos and will be posting them on the Jeep pages I’m on Facebook. this doesn't really do much but trap heat in the headers, Ur better off putting heat reflective tape on the underside of the intake and anything else that you want to keep cool like intake pipping

Stuff STINKS! And getting the wrap wet along with continued high rpms, eats the pipe prematurely! Ill never wrap them again! Better to make vents and oil cooler to bring operating temps down.

You should never say anything stupid. Ha ha then you point to a power steering pump and call it a water pump.
