Both my parents worked for Ford and I basically grew up in Lincolns and T-Birds. '57, '59 up through most all of the '60s. The only black one we had was a '65. It was from Wisconsin and had the 'no a/c' delete option. It didn't make it through the first summer in Cincy, LOL. As a kid, always playing around in Pop's cars, I found out that on the Continentals that had their 4-way flasher switch in the glove box you could turn on the 4-ways and *slightly* press on the brake pedal to back-feed the accessory circuits in the car. Step on the pedal too hard and you'd lose power the same as if it were in the 'Off' position.

As much as I prefer the 64-65 squared off look , it looks earlier than the 61-63 with curved glass.

The owner deserves and appreciates that car. I hope he sneaks and drives it on occasion.

In 1970, my stepfather bought my mother a used ‘64 that had 1,500 original miles on it. Similar story as in this video. Bought new and the buyer passed away shortly after… his widow didn’t drive so it sat in her garage until she passed. It was fully optioned and was gorgeous.

These stories are few and far between, but they do happen. It's really unbelievable until you see it in person. Thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it.
