Even without a bunch of fish it’s still awesome to be in such a gorgeous place. Just being by the ocean in a beautiful place like that makes it all worth it. Fish are just a bonus. Another great video Gido thanks.

Gido, for my part I could sit, watch, and listen to the surf, birds and some of the music you select for 20 minutes or longer and just chill. THE time-lapse of night sky is so amazing- always too short. Slow sunset with music is acceptable too. Doesn't have to be non stop action. I love the exciting fish catching days too. Don't sweat the slow ones - most of us are here to stay !

Love your vids mate. Thank you.. you're so lucky to have abalone you can eat. Here in South Africa it's been poached to almost extinction as well as being illegal to collect for about 20 years. All goes to the east and the poachers often paid with the chemicals that can make drugs. Not a good situation. Thanks again I love the randomness off your posts. Always so happy when you get home from a hard day on site and bamb.. a new video. Abalone burger looked like the best meal on earth.

In my neck of the woods Midwest US, when a low pressure system comes through the fishing is at its best, but they get tight lipped when the high pressure starts rising again. I wonder if this was the problem since it did rain. Just a thought and an observation I goe by.

Hey Gido, Over the years of watching you, I don’t remember you ever cooking your fish in any way other than frying it in oil. Have you tried wrapping it in foil with butter and herbs? Or barbecued on a stick? Better for your heart. Although, the hiking and climbing you do should burn off the fat, so no worries! And this time you made a fish curry stew.
@teeanahera8949
@teeanahera8949 24 күн бұрын
He often uses olive oil which is way better than butter for your heart. Cooking in foil is just steaming the fish and it has much less flavour that way.
