Amazing video. I am going there in about a fortnight and your video really helped :) P. S. by the way you said that you are there for 48 h just to check if it is worth it so you can come back later. But in the video you said you stayed in the hotel at Sorrento before. :p didn't catch that

Hi there! I'm traveling to Italy in June for the first time! Thanks for a great video with so many helpful tips. Where can I book an Italo train ride? I was looking at direct buses or direct private vans from Rome to Positano, but I think the Rome --> Naples --> Positano may make more sense with time and money!

Great video, and appreciate all your others as well. My wife and I are heading to Amalfi for a 4-5 days in a few weeks. Any tips on getting around from city to city along the coast for dinner and drinks and getting back to Amalfi afterwards? Also, any other locations you suggest to check out since we will be there for multiple days?

We are also going for a little over 48 hours and flying into Naples airport. Want to go to Pompeii straight from airport before going to Sorrento. One day Capri and another day touring Amalfi coast… thinking to both via boat, what company would you recommend?

Yes, you can train + bus no problem. A few extra steps and a few more people, but you’ll save a lot of money.
