Amalfi Coast in Italy is famous for its massive limestone cliffs, Positano hillside colorful buildings and one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. We took a train from Rome down to Amalfi Town for only 48 hours and it was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Within 1 hour you can visit Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and even the famous island of Capri. We took a 6 hour boat ride up and down the coast and even got to explore blue grottos. Italy is already such an epic trip but if you add Amalfi, it might change your life WOOT WOOT

It is a such a small world. I'm from Cleveland as well and have family who live in Bedford, Cleveland Heights, and Shaker still. Ironically enough, me and wife are visiting Positano and Capri in September, so this video came in clutch. We will DEFINITELY be taking that boat ride you all did. Thank you so much!

I started following you since you were in Santorini in Greece, in Oia where I stayed almost 21 days last year where I also saw Fira, and many other beautiful things including the Nea and Palea KAMENI volcanoes. very nice experience that remains in my heart, given the friendships I made on the island in Oia. Cool video I did this as a day trip starting from Salerno in the early morning and stopping at Amalfi, Ravello and Positano before finishing at Sorrento before sunset where I did the day trip to Capri Island. Amazing scenic route and stunning views - definitely my favourite part of Italy

I loved this video... the Isle of Capri... and you boating among the Faraglione Rocks nearby. Did you know that Tiberius (2nd Roman Emperor after Augustus)... had a huge villa built on top of the mountain at one end of "Cah-pree" (Capri). OMG, what went on up in that villa during his rule, well let's just say it can't be discussed on KZfaq!! 😲 Have fun Ian and Ana!! ~ Gary in Michigan!

Beautifully done video! We've been to Positano twice, and always rent the same villa, it's within a half block from Bar Internationale! That's our go to breakfast spot and cocktails or wine in the afternoon! Simply our favorite Italian destination!

... actually in Italian the sound of vocals it's clear and sharp: "Kà-pri". There's not a long sound of A. Giovanni... the first part is similar to John, but with the O clear and short.

Awww what a great informative video tutti buona gente!!! Coming from a family of Italians that moved to Brazil is interesting to see the hand gestures are the same hahahahaha but not only in my family Southern Region of Brazil is like that, which is very European. You guys should go visit Curitiba, and then go to Santa Catarina for the coast side. If you ever go visit Curitiba I would love to know...So, I can set you up with a friend that will take you around the city. BTW you would need to go during Summer Season. Brazil's Southern Region reaches below zero/freezing temperatures during Fall and Winter months. Spring it rains a lot and I am a looottttttt 😂 XoXoXo

Sorry if I write this (for my eng too) but I can't not ask: why one should go to the Amalfi Coast or Capri and spend 2 days only? I understand there is not too much time and people want to see as much as possible but believe me, it will be just stress not a holiday (and if you go in high season the stress will be incredible); isn't it better to choose a place and stay a week? 🤔

I live in Naples and go down to the coast a lot. You can easily find more affordable rentals if you don't mind driving the boat yourself. I don't remember the exact price, but something like €200-300 for 3-5 hours exists. Nothing fancy, just a small motorboat for around 4-6 people.

i liked the shops because they were so unique, you won't find any of that clothing or design or family owned artisan foods in the usa, and every shop was different, every corner, street, and all the steps, pathways, i prefer this type of shopping over malls

Amazing video! What is the best time to visit the Almafi Coast , with the least amount of tourist? It is incredible that you found an Air BNB for $86 a night and had breakfest served to you from a wonderful italian lady.

Hello, I live here and would recommend May (or very early June) or September. A lot of places are closed prior to May and after September once it gets colder. Mid June and July are heavy tourist months. And August is Ferragosto when Italians have off work for holiday and many come down to the Coast. While the water might still be a bit cold, you'll beat the crowds and price surges!

@@Carandiru1992 You are welcome! One place they didn't mention in the video, probably because they didn't have time, is our most famous hike/nature walk, Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods). An amazing trail high above Positano that has great views and is good for many ages (probably up to 70? My parents can still do it at 64). It's very overcrowded in peak summer months, but not bad after!
