I mean the shades light on you might work for me, so it cannot be said if they are brown friendly or not. but if it not in cool tones, and too reddish, they it could be brown skin friendly

The way American’s pronounce mauve is so different to how it’s pronounced in Australia and England. We pronounce it kind of like ‘moevh’ (like you’re saying ‘move’ with a super posh English accent). So Mauve Aside is pronounced like a super posh English ‘move aside’. It’s also why Colourpop had a collection called Making Mauves (basically Making Moves).
