Hey guys, welcome back to the channel! In this video I am going to be teaching you two easy mind reading tricks. This effect is amazing and was used to win money at casinos. The gimmick is a shiner; an old and little known prop in magic. It allows you to decipher the identity of any card without ever looking at it. It will also give you the power to seemingly read minds.

that was great! As a mentalist I like doing it for real though asking them to think of a card and then guessing it using the system of statistics. It is way more satisfying when I get it right. Also it helps if you know the person sometimes cause then youll know the difficulty. This trick was good! I can even use my Apple Watch

I tried your trick using a fork as a shiner in prison where I am doing a long term! I was trying to cheat at poker but unfortunately I got caught at it by some other inmates! I ended up getting stabbed a whole bunch of times with the fork! Is there any other safe object I can use that won't get me killed? There are no cell phones allowed here, and I don't dare use a dinner knife as a shiner! We are allowed shiny spoons, but I am afraid I will be beaten over the head with my spoon if I get caught cheating again!!!😮
