Welcome to Learn4u l! In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create a project with multiple blinking LEDs using an Arduino UNO. This project is perfect for learning how to control multiple outputs and expand your Arduino skills.
Materials Needed:
- Arduino UNO
- 4 LEDs
- 4 x 220-ohm resistors
- Breadboard
- Jumper wires
- USB cable for Arduino
Setup:
1. Connect the LEDs:
- Identify LED Legs:
- Each LED has a longer leg (anode) and a shorter leg (cathode).
- Insert LEDs into the Breadboard:
- Place each LED on the breadboard in separate rows.
2. Connect the Resistors:
- Insert Resistors into the Breadboard:
- Connect one end of each 220-ohm resistor to the same row as the shorter leg (cathode) of each LED.
- Ground Connection:
- Connect the other end of each resistor to a common row on the breadboard.
3. Wiring the LEDs to the Arduino:
- Anode Connections:
- Use jumper wires to connect the rows with the longer legs (anodes) of the LEDs to the following digital pins on the Arduino:
- LED 1: Digital pin 2
- LED 2: Digital pin 3
- LED 3: Digital pin 4
- LED 4: Digital pin 5
- Cathode Connections:
- Use jumper wires to connect the row with the free ends of the resistors to the ground (GND) pin on the Arduino.
4. Connect the Arduino to Your Computer:
- Using the USB Cable:
- Connect the Arduino to your computer using the USB cable. This provides power to the Arduino and allows you to upload the code.
Code:

Demo:
- [Scene: You uploading the code and showing the blinking LEDs in sequence]
- "Now, let's upload the code to the Arduino and see the LEDs blink in sequence."
Conclusion:
- [Scene: You on camera]
- "And there you have it! We've created a project with multiple blinking LEDs using an Arduino. Thanks for watching, and stay tuned for more Arduino projects."
