The burden of him separated from his mother weighs heavy on his heart. But there are no accidents in life, everything happens for a reason. In the span of 3 hours the unusual and surreal happens, stripped from his luxuries Kabeer faces his fears and finds new strength within.

Beautiful and mysterious story with veiled messages. Some points to reflect 2 to 5 is the magical time from Tahajjud to Fajr (half third of the night) , we are lost in lives but Allah Swt provides guidance to seekers, guidance is like light in the dark as it arrives and lightens the world post Fajr

truly, this is one film that i will never ever get tired of watching. it wonderfully wraps the metaphor of life as a journey in one beautiful nutshell where every thing falls neatly and fittingly. from the real time events to the commentary and songs on the radio, the opera, lullaby, nightmare, and qawwali all reveal the rich textures and layers of life. very poetical, philosophical and spiritual. this is a priceless and timeless masterpiece i am proud to cherish. it beautifully encapsulates the journey of a modern man at the rock bottom of his life. thank you digestive showtime for this brilliant film.

When I saw a quote by Rumi right in the beginning of the film I expected it to be good. And then, just when I couldn't make sense of what was happening, & where he was (country full of Pakistanis, but not Pakistan - Should have read the synopsis, but didn't!? ) and was thinking of switching to a different show, it got better & then it got good - Spiritual Sufi Style - Nice! I gave it another thumbs UP.

From the first impression, I was impressed by color grading and after watching the whole film, I was speechless and hopeful at the same time. The story, direction, acting was top-notch. 3 things stood out for me. 1.Color Grading ( the whole vibe was matching the story), 2. Direction ( The movie was directed beautifully and the vision of the movie can't be sum up into words) and the 3. Direction of Photography ( Loved how he framed everything according to authority and vibe). This short film gave me hope that in Pakistan we can make movies like Hollywood and I can learn and try my skills in Pakistan cinema. Hope to work with cast like this in future.

mr zahid ahmed, you're really awesome in this film. you are not only the funny one and the serious one. you bring out these two simultaneously. you bring out the seriously funny and hillariously serious situations with the petrol pump guy and the night shift cashier. not quite sure whether to laugh at the situations or to scream with frustrations. and you plant a mona lisa smile on us. brilliant job.
