get a couple Booyah Pad Crasher Juniors. They are so much fun to fish in the backs of creeks all summer around me. I size down to a spinning setup, medium heavy, and 20 lb straight braid. such a blast.

Yeah jackall kaera frog, I love those frogs. Last year I had one in the dark bluegill color and I caught something like 16 bass on it in one afternoon on Barren River lake, KY. My favorite frog.

It was a blast watching! There are few things more exciting than a sudden blow-up from a bass striking a surface lure, especially a frog.

Great content You definitely helped me become a better fisherman It troubles me there are YT fishing influencers significantly less helpful than you have more subscribers than you due to IMO thier status of professional career fisherman gets them again IMO to many unearned subscribers but that's more the fault of we amateur fisherman the pro himself Fallowed your instruction last year on finding a spot then picking it apart Area was a small patch of lily pads paralleling a point that the pads were 3x longer than wide conditions were perfect for a frog First fished the open water outside edge of the pads with a popper made first cast and popper retrieve near perfectly paralleled the weed edge caught a bass first cast hit so hard if I didn't know better would've thought a dead tree branch fell from a tree and hit my rod Immediately switched to a frog and fished literally every square foot of that area of pads even moved and changed casting angles 4x in a little over three hours of very carefully picking the pads apart I had 24 bass blow up on my frog and caught 19 of them best day frogging I ever had literally was absolute overwhelmed with how much fun I was having Then the clouds moved out it got 90% sun and frog bite went cold Switched to a T-Rigged worm and over the next three hours caught 6 more bass for my best half day of bass fishing in many years. While I didn't catch a bass over 5lbs all the bass were over 2lbs most were 2.5-3.5 pounds with two honest 4lb+ bass Best of all this was 100% from shore This lake simply gets way to much fishing pressure (than God not smart fishing pressure) and just isn't large enough or constructed to grow significant numbers of 5lb+ bass and bass over 6 pounds are very rare But, it does produce very large numbers of good quality bass between 2.5 and 4.5 pounds This lake is also shallow with more areas under 10' than over 10' with an average depth of 6' with a huge amount of very shallow subsurface humps less than 5' deep so most guys with bass boats like yours don't fish this lake for fear of damaging thier boats and as the lake has a reputation as a small bass lake also keeps guys with big bass boats like yours out so the bass fishing is IMO better than most people realize and by now the lake is pretty choked with weeds and huge pad fields so even fewer boats of any size fish it much and 90% of the best shore areas are difficult to access from a medium sized fishing boat and essentially inaccessible from big bass boats like 18-20' deep V Rangers and Triton type etc bass boats I watch multiple YT bass fishing influencers but you are absolutely in my top 5 most watched Thanks for making me a better fisherman

I threw a frog alllll day this past Sunday. Almost caught myself a raccoon and heron in the process. Best way to bass fish, period IMO.

the only issue i have with throwing a frog... is waiting until they actually get it in their mouths to set the hook. I either don’t wait long enough, or wait too long. it’s frustrating as fuck. lol. edit: and for the life of me... I can’t skip with a baitcaster. I always fuck it up. I can skip with a spinning rod just fine. but i’m gonna backlash the fuck out of a baitcaster trying to skip it. every time. it sucks.
