Unique!! I have never seen a direct connect "fly by Wire" set up! For a lot of kids who are on a budget or use game machines with direct hookups or would like to try out casting from their phones without buying first, this would be an excellent method. You come across as a wonderful teacher and we pupils appreciate your careful presentation. Usually we have a failed teacher who speaks so fast, using terms we pupils do not understand. Oh my goodness!! 5 years later.... &DUDE U SAVED ME WITH THIS ONE!!- I've had a Chromecast for over a month now... & bc I couldn't get an connection, thought I couldn't use it!!- lol. It seems to me that we are going backwards in technology, 5 years ago I had a LG phone I would connect to my TV via usb, and then I had a BlackBerry that also would connect straight to my TV, now that technology is irrelevant and the manufacturers of mobile phones think it is better for us to buy a extra wire to make a connection to our device's. As I remember the usb wire from your charger is what you would use, now you have to connect two wires on the TV end, HDMI and USB!!! next the will be removing the screens off mobiles, and telling us we have to buy a watch to see who is call. Cant Wait!!!

I did this, works great! So easy to follow the steps. Thank you! My tablet isn't on Verizon, like me phone. The tablet doesn't show netflix on tv, the phone does. Does my tablet need to be added to Verizon account? Will the tablet connect to tv to show netflix without being part of Verizon account? With the phone, I can watch Netflix no problem. You are so helpful! Love your you tube channel.

Hello Tampatec, I just want to say I think your video's I've seen are excellent. I have a question for your or your viewers about casting or mirroring my iphone 6 to any tv via lightning to HDMI or VGA and to be able to stream Roku / Hulu / Netflix / Amazon / Vudu / etc. Are there any ways to duplicate or mirror your streaming movies from any of the above services via your cell phone without a home wi-fi or internet connection the areas I'm trying to use the device in is rural without even good internet service. HELP!!

First thing you should have mentioned "PHONE HAVE TO BE MHL OR SLIMPORT ENABLED" on top of the description. Most of these type of videos are making same mistakes by not mentioning the reality factor at the beginning of the videos or headlines.

For peoples who failed to connect it, Enable developer option ( check how you enable it on KZfaq, it's easy) then activate usb debugging and voila you can access to your phone..
