I was here in mid August, both of the Orona lifts were out of order, one seemed to be getting replaced and the other had an issue with the keycard reader, the staff were quite unhelpful to a lady in a wheelchair who was put on the 3rd floor, the technician who was sent out to “repair” the lift was a generic local company tech and was very much clueless as to how to replace or override the keycard reader within the logic cabinet, which is possible but unnecessary as he could have just used car preference control with the key switch in the cab, to which I told the tech this information and suddenly the lift was back up and running when we went for dinner. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t had told the tech. Also I hated the size of the hotel 😂 it was massive and my room was very far away from anywhere and I constantly got lost, I am severely sight impaired (SSI) so I found it very difficult.
