Absolutely lovely to see someone becoming their authentic self! I have a question for you. An acquaintance of mine is transitioning and their spouse (my friend) is expressing concern to me about mental health and weight issues that are exacerbated through her hormone therapy. I have myself been on a weight loss journey and am starting to understand the role that hormones play in my mental and physical health because there is a such wealth of information on KZfaq. Is there a particular resource for someone who is transitioning to understand the specifics of how hormones affect them and how to manage them successfully? I have really appreciated the scientific explanations that Andrew Huberman and others like him offer. Is there a trans "bio hack" personality out there I can refer them to? Currently this person is kind of floundering and her hormones are all over the place. She seems resistant toward gaining this type of deeper understanding through her doctor. I'm looking for a more palatable way to present it that is speciffically for trans people.

I see the happiness & the beauty. I’m so pleased you’ve made it through this often bumpy, frustrating & sometimes just mean journey to show the world your true self. I really wish you all the luck I can for the future ahead. On a selfish point… I just can’t seem to get my head to see your wonderful progress, then make the connection that one day I might be making that same journey. they gotta be slick, they synthesize their own, inject them to bacteria, then the bacteria creates estrogen and estrogeidol, then they dissolve it into regular IV fluid, which they inject, sometimes mixed with cellulose and caffeine and taken as pills.
