I started hair growing back in late 2019, but at the beginning of summer 2020 my hair wasn't long enough to be tied back and the rising temperatures made it very uncomfortable to have long hair so I went back to a faux hawk haircut. I started growing again right after and now I have 14 months of hair growth on the top and I'm even thinking to start growing the sides too, because of your videos which are such a big motivation. 🔥

Yooo I cut my hair 2 weeks before after a year and a half of growing it. To be honest it was the BEST thing I've ever done to my hair in the past 18 years lol. And it's the first time I made a change to my hairstyle, which is just simply letting it grow and do its thing. Trust me, if you have a not so square, not-so-thick, average V-shaped, or even slightly diamond-shaped face, just grow your hair out once in your life, you won't regret it. You're gonna get so many compliments along the way. The awkward stage depends for everyone. All depends on the confidence of the person. Once you grow out your hair and look at the past "awkward stage" you will think that, that wasn't really awkward and you could've just gone out without a cap. It's just a feeling. After I had first grown my hair out, after about a year I lost A BUNCH of my initial interest. So I cut it off. It was probably the best thing I had ever done for myself regarding my hair, because while I did immediately miss my hair, it gave me the huge spike of motivation to grow it back out. I recommend the same for you. It’s a hell of a lot of fun to regrow at hair and just have it at different lengths. It could also make for interesting videos, as you could show us different styles and updates that you’re doing as you grow it out. Just a tip.

I am only about 3 months into growing my hair and I discovered your channel. My hair is ridiculously thick and poofy which is why I have always kept it short. This is the longest it has been in a long while. Your videos are keeping me motivated! Do you have any tips for thick poofy hair? My hair is currently only between 2.5 and 3 inches on the top and about 1.5" on the sides. P.S. Your hair looks great down!

Been growing mine out since August 2020, been getting frustrated, because curly hair and harder water. But that 1.75 year hair growth is inspiring. Been admittedly a little lazy too, letting my hair get super dry and not doing anything. I think you pull off two year well when it's down but I can get why you feel like it awkward stage 2.0. Personally I think I will stick with 1.75 to 2.0 stages when I get there,I have to find a reliable barber for maintenance cuts. I have dinner damaged tangled ends and split ends, but I don't trust any barber with my 1 year hair.

Growing your hair out definitely takes a lot of patience been growing mine out for two years and just got a trim and it barely reaches my shoulders I want to grow it for 5 years so it can be super long but it definitely takes a lot of patience

I remember watching this video while having sort of short hair. While currently my hair is a little past my shoulders 😎 . One thing to know is that everyone you know will tell you to get a hair cut during the awkward stages and you'll definitely feel like shit. I wanted to cut my hair so many times but I decided through with it and now many people say I have very nice hair.

10 months in and I can successfully tie my hair up into a ponytail and thus a very tiny bun. I grew it out from a normal short haircut and I've had a bit of a mullet for a while. It's looking better now that's it's longer and the longest bits are past my shoulders

I think your Q3 hair length is the best if you ever did decide to get it cut. I'm currently sitting at just under a year of hair growth so I'm at the awkward stage where my sides just aren't long enough to tie back yet. Getting there though 😅
