Honest to god its the fucking matchmaking thats pisses me off. I hate getting into a 3v3 spending 30 minutes building uop and fighting for map position then noticing my allies are playing Sim fucking city.

people getting bored so fast is more a problem of people nowadays, than this specific game. I couldve told you they would get bored no matter how good the game was. Its sad :(

@@silver2zilver ask them at start of game what minute they expect to reach castle and what time their army will be ready. Anyone any decent should know

To be fair, there can be weird upsets that mean a stronger team loses to an inferior team. But generally speaking, it is indeed a bit odd of a statement regarding two finalists xD

Yeah. And drongo already talk about it in his previous video about it. 3 team back to back destroying 1 enemy's landmarks. And cause him to surrender or no longer have eco / military. Could make imbalance team fight.

The one with their base in the middle, whereas the ones on the sides are the flank players

Because it would still boil down to a single strategy: eliminate one or more opponent(s) then , if they haven't surrendered yet, build the wonder. Otherwise, you're asking for matches to be 20-30min of sim city. I think wonder victories are awesome but you kind of rely on players to stockpile resources which probably only happens in lower skilled matches. I don't believe they work in a pro-gaming scene.

4v4 with wonder victory. 3 players at age II and IIU (3 x 30 units almost.100 units).can easily build military and gang up 1 enemy player and destroy their 2-3 landmark once at a time. making one of the enemy unable to join force for late game. And the last player just focus on economy and age up to age IV. and while doing so he can fortified his base / wonder location. Trading and share his eco to teammate.

Spearmen are useless there against all those horse archers

Wouldn't having spearmen to defend the base and not go attacking work tho?? You could honestly just hide them in the town center or towers.

Yeah it's a lot better with mates. Always very nice when they take all your mines and build 0 army units.

Its not fine. If this match doesnt show you whats wrong then nothing will. The tops civs are part of the problem. Just spamming one units doesnt seem broken to you? Course not.

You can have a well balanced army of pikeman/crossbows/ your own horses and get rekt by a mass of HORSES YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1000 FIRELANCERS running through the map! Pathing through everything into your buildings WOOohoOO!!! We love HORSES! Oh yeah and how about them teamates who refuse to make a MARKET FOR YOU! ANd take all the GOLD and refuse to play together! @@jonahjameson272 i know some ppl like a slower and easier game. To them aoe2 will be preferable. To each their own.
