I'm so glad I found your channel! Thank you for such an in-depth look at these patterns, your thoughts on the designers, yarn choices and construction details are inspirational. Many of these have been on my own list and now I have a few new ones. I've been reluctant to move into summer knitting due to making yarn choices for a hot summer. What are your favorites? 💐

So glad you’re here! 😊 Yeah I’ve made summer plans in the past and just couldn’t decide on yarns. But this year I’m really motivated to knit a lot of summer patterns. Right now I’m loving Sandnes Line and tynn Line, Isager Trio 1 and I’m really interested in trying a few of Gepard’s summer yarns. Knitting for Olive Merino is also great for fingering weight designs.

@@serenelife3 I’ve had Linen quill in my stash for a few years. I keep planning to make a Half and Half wrap but I’m afraid if I cast on, I’ll never finish it. The thought of doing that much garter stitch is scary to me!

I'm Danish and I think the reason the Danish 5XL seems small to you is because our sizing system is different than the US one (our sizes are generally smaller because people here are generally smaller). So I recommend just looking at the measurements instead to be entirely sure it'll fit you! 🌻 Thank you for this lovely collection of patterns. Guess I know what I'll be spending my summer on now ✨

That makes a lot of sense! I always do have to check the measurements and adjust according to how much positive ease I want. It was so hard to keep the list to a maximum of 20 patterns. So many great summer patterns out there 🤍

I’m a UK 14 bust and I remember visiting Hong Kong, where an 2XL is tiny and wouldn’t fit around my thigh let alone my bust!

I’m going to meet Sari in Philadelphia in two weeks for KnitTopia. I want to up my game and knit her patterns. I really want to knit her cables and color work. The Monica Geller tee is in my queue. I live in Florida so I can wear it all year round.

Oh how cool that you get to meet her. Her patterns are incredibly well written. The Lumme sweater I made last year is still one of my favorite knits.

@@toksknits I can’t wait to learn from her. Her designs are my style. It seems that she comes to the US a few times a year for knitting events. The Lumme sweater will be released as a tee in June. I live in Florida so that is perfect for me. The sweater is gorgeous. I may make one anyway since I do go up north a few times in the winter. 😊

I'm sorry that I disappointed you because of my observation. I have subscribed and am going no where. I will be hanging around waiting and watching for your next podcast. I watched your podcast in its entirety because of the honesty in which you gave your opinion. Sure they may be some better podcasters that are ok in front of the camera but they will never have your flair nor your style. My comment wasn't to criticize you, but to make you cognizant of a minute "thing". I ask your forgiveness if I offended you that was not my intent. I can go elsewhere but I don't think that is in my best interest. Perhaps I should have addressed my comment better and in the future I will be cognizant of the rhetoric I use. I am assuming that my comment wasn't uplifting and that was my intent. I humbly and sincerely ask your forgiveness and I hope that you do.

Your podcast is informative, but the over usage of the word "yea, yeah" is distracting the viewer's attention span due to the repetitive nature of this word. I have listened to hundreds of knitting podcasters and this word is used by all. Why? It is like a person that uses the word "like" constantly. Count how many times you used this word. Really there is no need. I have stopped counting. This would be one of the best podcasts I have ever heard, but the repetitive usage takes away the masterfully crafted podcast.

Sorry to disappoint… unfortunately sometimes people get a little nervous in front of the camera. It’s a real thing. I’m sure other podcasters experience that from time to time. There are other incredible podcasters out there who are better pros in front of the camera and probably have better content than I do.
