It might not have been the set as much as 3 young children that didn't have the guidance they needed. Other child actors/ actress made it with support from their families and loved ones. When they got involved with drugs they didn't have the help they needed. I know unless they want the help it won't work. I think most feel like they are just a paycheck to many and don't care about them. We can never tell what another one is thinking. Alot of these people have emotional problems back then wasn't known as well as it is now. That emotionally is real as well as other illnesses. God lead people for whatever their health issues to get the help they need

It's very sad and makes you realise what a tough world fame is, you either make it, or it breaks you. Ordinary life is tough enough, without being in the public eye. Any one of us can lose everything at any time. I've had a very tough life, though I've never been homeless - almost a few times, but touch wood, I've got through safely. I'm 64 and became very ill in 2010, so I'm penniless and alone. But I muddle on. So I have sympathy with those who've fallen. I've helped homeless people get back on their feet, and I wish I could help more. I was a huge fan of Jan Michael Vincent, so sad to see him go downhill. May God bless all their souls and others in dire straits.

People don’t understand that consuming these poisons are only a temporary escape from pain. This pain is sadly often due to abuse by others. They don’t realize or accept that it only makes things worse. In many cases they are genetically pre-disposed for addiction, but don’t know it at the time. In some rare cases, even a single use means they are permanently hooked. Some people even die on an initial use. I don’t get it either, but for some their pain is so severe and immediate they can’t look at the big picture or think ahead far enough.

I grew up in a small city with lots of affluence but not tons of things to do, so many teens got into drugs out of boredom. Like many people, I had family issues that tempted me to use drugs or booze as an escape, but I always could rationalize not capitulating to it because it would only make things worse. Plus I saw bright kids become burnouts. Thank goodness or my “angels” I never fell in that trap, or was genetically predisposed despite histories of alcoholism on both sides of my family. Another important factor was voluntarily taking a Substance Abuse class in HS. I originally took it because I wanted to get out of traditional boring Health class. But it was eye-opening and valuable. I think it should be mandatory for all kids. It wasn’t preachy, it didn’t teach me how to make drugs, just gave me facts about what the chemicals do and how misuse can result in a calamity of personal / family / societal problems.

I found many of these stories heart wrenching with a true realization, that there but for the grace of God go I. Our choices though we may not realize them at the time will put us on a path that can lead into a good rewarding life or one of struggle and dependency. Sometimes we think we are capable of taking the bull by the horns but what we fail to realize is that we are being lured into a world once entered is difficult to escape. In my youth I almost lost my way if it weren’t for falling in love and wanting something better. I cut ties, I moved and began a journey that I never looked back from and a love that continues to fulfill me with every passing day.

Lots of very sad stories, plus some inspiring comeback stories. I have some visual artist friends, and I find really talented artists are often volatile, weird, and super focused on their art, to the detriment of everything else. They are incredibly talented, but those gifts are not the ones that allow for good money management and self-control. And we need these wild visionary people in our culture, to open doors and see things in different ways. I don't know what the answer is, but many artists would benefit from money and tax planning, and counselling and support.

Jim Carreys family became homeless and they lived in a VW van. 16 year old Jim and his brother spent months living in a tent in a park. Jim had to quit school to take a job as a janitor. Jim used the pain in his comedy: “My father lost his job, and I actually became homeless for quite some time. Of course, I grew up in Canada, so I thought we had just gone camping”

Amen.As i agree with this completely, homelessness can happen to anyone especially in the economy we live in now as we are living inthe last end days .These are all really nice people good people and its sad this happened to them, anc sad it. happens to alot of people today,as we are all brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, and we are all God's children, so we should all practice kindness and compassion for one another as it's a very true saying, there but for the grace of God go i .Thank you for to his heartwarming video.♥️💕💐💕💖💝💝💖🌹🌹🌸🌷🐕‍🦺

Ok - 25. Margot Kidder 0.54 (passed away on May 13, 2018 at age 69) 24. Jan-Michael Vincent 2:20 (passed away on February 10, 2019 at age 74) 23. Eric Moran 3:59 22. Leif Garrett 6:07 21. Dana Plato 7:25 20. Mindy McCready 8:43 19. Loni Willison 9:46 18. David Cassidy 11:19 (passed November 21, 2017) 17. MC Hammer (Emcee Hammer) 13:21 - this one surprised me. 16. Willie Aames 15:24 15. Natasha Lyonne 17:11 (I believe I also remember her in American Pie, which was arguably bigger than her movies credited in this) 14. Marvin Gaye 18:52 13. Lisa Robin Kelly (Eric Forman from That 70's Show's sister Lori Forman - also I think I sort of remember her from American Pie) 20:02 12. Wesley Snipes 20:58 (this one also surprised me) 11. Randy Quaid 22:17 10. John Drew Barrymore 23:26 9. Danny Bonaduce 24:22 8. Amanda Peterson 25:15 7. Corey Haim 26:14 5. Jim Carey 27:18 (wow, wasn't expecting him) 4. Brett Butler 28:25 3. Gary Coleman 29:21 2. Aaron Carter 30:22 1. Todd Bridges 31:27 (I honestly didn't even know who he was) Lastly IMO, Emcee Hammer probably "suffered most" IMO. He was on top of the world after Can't Touch This, and I don't at all like that his "out" involved religion because I hate religion.

I've been homeless since 2008 due to domestic violence abuse abandonment left to raise our son by myself married again for that husband putting me in the hospital. After that I could no longer work my medical career of over 38 years. I lost my home I have no family as I am a only child my parents passed away 1980 and then in 1984 we didn't have a whole lot of money and we didn't own a home and there was no life insurance... Yet I took care of myself always worked and always had a car and a job I worked very very hard for so many years and two husbands between the two of them took everything I owned what was left I had to sell to feed my son and I and I have been couch surfing ever since.. in that time I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer ... I'm in stage 4 but I'm never giving up now I am never giving up. . I am still living with an ex-boyfriend since 2011 he is an abusive drug addicted and he has a bipolar rage disorder what she will not take medication for. Making my life a living hell he let me lie on the floor under my computer where I slept watching me slowly develop a huge black hole over my upper breast I escaped 4 months before death and ran to Seattle where I was renting a room from the a friend they could not get all of the cancer. I am not drug addicted I don't abuse alcohol. My son lives in Delaware with his father now he is 33 and suffers from the same major depression chronic distressive disorder. PTSD ADHD as I do. Friends have a habit of scattering when you were down on your luck.... I am 66 now and retired on social security only. No food stamps no section 8 no help from the government that I pay taxes and to my whole life.. I did file for all the help I needed in that I was told was available to me. But things aren't always as they say they are I got a few benefits and then they took them away because they said I owed too much money I only receive $1840.00 a month which is my money I paid into from working .1840
