I've had mine for 4 years now, it's my dove and grouse and occasional clays gun and I love it ! Not to mention you can carry it all day .

I just bought the same shotgun at my local Wal-Mart Saturday, so they still sell them. It was $408 and surprised me at how well it shoots and handles.

Stevens 555 is made in Turkey. Just got one. Lots of good sub $1k o/u’s out there. Mostly made in Turkey.

turkey has a long history of quality gun making. that said just like china they make products to a spec. Sp while probably 10 brands armsan tristar hatfield and on and on sell guns made in literally the same room and on the same tools but if you look at them thebcheap ones start tighter because theyre rough the expensive ones start tight because they are better machined. the cheap get loose fast the expensive hang on same factory.

A lot of the sub $1000 O/U shotguns on the market right now come from Turkey. Just because a U.S. based company is selling it, doesn’t mean it was manufactured in the states. The Stoeger condor appparently doesn’t have a barrel selector, like a lot of the other brands do.

Jesse- great review. Looks like your wearing your granny's leopard pattern sandals during filiming so be careful handling firearms in sandals.

I wish the video description contained specifics about the gun. Barrel length and price, is it a real wood stock?

Thanks for the comment, I’ll work on that for future videos

About how many rounds you have through this? I was thinking about the 12ga model to shoot trap from time to time but I don’t know how it would hold up
@EveryonesOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Probably 300 or so , it’s better quality then my stoeger
@echosierra99902 жыл бұрын
It has a 7075 aluminum receiver (same type an AR uses as well as many other O/U shotguns), it should hold up like any other firearm, if you take care of it. I have the Legacy sports version (the pointer), and so far have about 100 rounds through it, shooting sporting clays. When you’re paying < $500 for a shotgun, the fit and finish won’t be quite as nice, but it will function perfectly fine.

Have the 12ga Tristar Trinity with the steel receiver, perfect weight, absolutely love it, amazing quality for the price.

I did the same thing, Never heard of Tri-Star, so I bought the Mossberg 835 to go skeet shooting. After reading the reviews and watching some YT, I ended up going back and buying it. I took it to our Sporting Clays this weekend, and it shot great. A little stiff at first, but it ran great. I got the 20 ga. and it kicks a little because it's a little light.....
