This was some of the worst black paint I have seen that remained in the realm of fixability. Most of this BMW E34 Touring retained its OEM soft black paint, meaning it easily scratches, but is also fairly easy to correct. The front end of the car was repainted and done poorly, it would require sanding to resolve but was to inconsistent and thin to do so. Regardless I don't think it has a huge impact on the overall result of the car. This was a lot of fun. Finishing it off in a one year ceramic coating from Shine Supply. I think this E34 came a long way in the two videos we put up. On to the streets now. Much love!

Oh man, I need to detail my BMW i3s soooo bad. My ride is now 3 years old, and since I drive around 4000 km a month and mostly on highways, you can tell that thereza lot of bruises to the paint… But hey, nice video my man! Got to get myself some Chromatic merch for my car! 💯🔝🍀👍🏼🤗

I own a “daily driver not garage kept” black 2015 Yukon Denali XL 4x4…….From the USA 🇺🇸 in Florida….It is work to keep it up and clean. But using the proper methods of washing, drying, and protecting the paint with good quality products, it still looks excellent inside and out even with 166,000 plus miles….Plus the detailing of it and my other vehicles is my therapy 🙏🙏🙏🙏 As always, excellent video sir👍🙌….Also, the new 4-legged addition to the videos is quickly becoming a star ⭐️!!…..Lol….Stay safe and be Blessed 🙏

I love these videos so much, the production is unmatched! I think one of the reasons I love them so much is because the detailing steps involved are exactly what I would do, not overcomplicated but never cutting corners. Well done mate!

This is what I waited for. Im speachless. The fun thing was it was like backwards against what everybody use to do, put all effort on a fast job on the paint to show progress. This you showed the car love to all things before the big transformation.

Black when clean is amazing, honestly hard to beat clean black paint. Even with 2 buckets/ dirt guards and always keeping my towels and mitts washed and cleaned, somehow swirls always slowly come back lol. It’s a mission

I’m not even sure, with filming and everything it’s not really calculable. If I was doing this as a business the cut would probably take 6-8 hours

as always you do a perfect job! how do you think if i repaint some body parts like bumper, hood, trunk and etc.. but i'll wont repaint the whole body because is original paint from factory, but it's 30+ y.o. will it possible to get the matching after polishing? or should i do repaint body too? it's interesting, i'll try easer way first :) (btw its Subaru Black Mica Pearl)

Thank you! I think if possible the best thing to do is repaint the whole car. I’m not a person that puts a value on original paint unfortunately. However I think a highly skilled painter should be able to get it close enough. But then again it depends who’s eyes are looking at it haha

Hehe, yeah, working on my cars has become way more complicated for me as well since i got my new puppy... Literally can´t leave anything on the ground anymore. And she´s always very kean on "helping me out" when i´m laying under the car, usualy licking my face is her preferred work. 😅

I always avoid black cars 😅 but I own a 2004 X5 in Saphirschwarz. I wrapped it in ppf because the paint is like cottonwool, touch it and it'll get imperfections 🤷♂️
