i think it’s very important that you’re ruminating on consumerism and your impact on your viewers. i know that we live in a society that values and romanticises our hypercosumption but it’s crucial to be critical and make your own opinion on these topics.

Taking acne as it comes, how true. I dealt with pretty bad acne for years, then had a bad experience with an oral acne medication which caused severe side effects. After a year of fear I finally went back to the dermatologist & my skin is slowly healing. Acne & the enemy's lies can make you feel isolated for sure. You are beautiful, Marla! Thank you for your transparency with your skin journey 💕

I got off Accutane for the second time in February. The first time I took it, it was 2014 and the effects lasted ~4 years. Coming off it again, I was pretty nervous that I'd start breaking out again because I feel like I can't trust my skin. But you're completely right: Just roll with it and see how things go. So far so good!! I will get the occasional piece every other month or so, but it's resolved pretty quickly with hygiene & continued Differin use. My derm said that the first time you take Accutane, theres a ~20% relapse rate and the second time is ~10%. Those are good odds!

I took math this semester also and the exact same thing would happen to me. I legit thought I had math dyslexia 😭 I kept trying though and slowing down the problem for myself, I realized I would try to rush the problem because I thought I knew it and one minor mistake would get me the wrong answer. So just slow it down for yourself Marla! You got this🧡And tutoring will definitely help and pay off!
