My spouse committed all those mistakes, I am hopeless and I still go to the same church with his affair partner because he is a senior pastor there, I really don't know how I will ever be able to move forward from this agony

Rick, I wish I could afford to get therapy from you, everything you talk about is always spot on n my husband who is the unfaithful just doesn't seem to get it, it's been a year n 5 months since D day n things on my end are only getting worse n no matter what I say he just doesn't want to make the effort to get help smh, but thank you for all that you do for so many people, again I truly wish I could afford to get therapy from you but thanks to this pandemic I am no longer working, the funs n joy of being self employed. How long does it take to even REACH recovery mode? I had my world shattered about a month ago and it doesn't feel like the process of recovery is even an option right now.

its been 5 years. ..it always comes back up ....everytime my unfaithful husband says one bad word...the whole thing overwhelmes me all over again...he says he won't say those words anymore...but it lasts 5 mins....but his txts to his ap were always filled with words of love and adoration.... my heart is still soo broken.. I don't trust anymore...

Mari Sira I know exactly what you are saying. For the first year after Dday, discovery day, his texts to me would be one word-wow, cool, why.....But long cute se- filled texts to her. Ugh!

My wife texted her AP four times a day. Yet now, she says she us too busy at work to talk to me. Ugh!!

My husband thinks I should be able to go around all his friends with out being triggered. They are all friends with his ap and they all knew of the affair. He talked so badly about me at the bar his friends called me was laughing and using curse words on his phone So much damage here
