Doing a backflip off a sky island then perfectly using a paraglider is amazing

Something even more satisfying about the sky labyrinths is when you have upgraded the Glide armor set enough to get the bonus then dive without pulling your paraglider.

Tears of the Kingdom is my first Zelda game, and I’m pretty sure I made a good decision.

You did for sure. I'd recommend two other Zeldas if you like the more open-ended style: Breath of the Wild (Switch) and A Link Between Worlds (3DS but you can probably use emulator too)

Another satisfying thing is just falling from a really high sky island with the glide armor on level 2 and not taking fall damage

Something about running over enemies with fast vehicles is very satisfying to me. Particularly the constructs because they make it prettier with lights. Another thing is making giant hammers and slapping bokos with them, and proceeding to watch them fly and make little purple fireworks.

When you use ascend and it doesnt bring you into the weird “swimming up” background Similarly, when you use ascend and it brings you into the weird swimming up background even though you are just ascending up a small rock is the most annoying.
