Next to the fishing trips with your dad, getting a chance to fish within iconic legend like Jimmy Houston what a dream come true. My father and I watch Jimmy Houston from the early '80s every weekend and now I'll watch him on KZfaq the past years. I love your approach to fishing and the videos you put out I truly hope you take him up on his offer to go largemouth bass fishing with Jimmy Houston in Oklahoma. I normally am happy with my life and who I am but that would be one day I would want to trade lives with you so I can fish with Jimmy. Rock on man.

I'm 47,I remember jimmy when he was so young..I still remember the first time I ever watched a fishing show where they were targeting catfish..It was an un- heard of thing,at that time,to waste film on lowly fish like a catfish...He was bank fishing a small pond,he was using hot dog chunks soaked in kool-aid..His guest was a man who was just up and coming,Bill Dance....I've been a subscriber to Jimmy Houston Outdoors,since the early 80's,back when you had to have a subscription to Field and Stream,in order to be a " subscriber"👍🤣

Good to see Jimmy again. I used to love watching the old timers like Virgil Ward, Homer Circle, Roland Martin and Bill Dance when I was a kid. Jimmy is the grandfather some of us wish we had. My grandfather was a WWII veteran and I never had one conversation with him in my 25 years. It wasn't until I recieved his medals upon my grandmothers death that our family found out he was a bronze star recipient. We don't know why still.
