I dont live in England, but we own a house there and live here in America. My mum is from England so she always taught my younger sister and I to eat that way, since when we go there, it shows very respectful table manners.

When I shook hands with Prince Charles, he did follow the rules on handshake. His grip was firm but not too tight, I remember his hand was warm and he looked me directly in the eye and tried to sound sincere.

Chris Harrison I was in a lift with Prince Harry in a hotel in Auckland when I was visiting family in May 2015 for two months I was shocked when he walked into the lift, he was with a couple of what i presumed to be friends, I said hi and he was cool especially when he found out I was fellow Brit, he came across so normal just like anyone you'd meet on the street, he asked what I was doing in New Zealand and he remarked it was funny we'd met the other side of the world in New Zealand when we both live in London, well I live in Surrey but it's close enough as i work in london, This all happened in seconds and then he was gone.

Rachel Garber it's okay to be honest tho because when I was 10 my best friend got me a scarf for my birthday that I wasn't a fan of and I said "I really love it" because I thought wat your thinking now and the next day at school she saw me not wearing it and she said when will I wear the scarf because if I loved I would've worn it (which she knew I did with all clothing) and then I told her the truth and then she got mad (but she forgave me later) because I wasn't honest with her

Simple, and you never once said you didn't like it and you acted grateful the entire time. If someone gives you something you don't say " thanks but no thanks " UNLESS it's an extreme circumstance, such as you are highly allergic accepting it at all will hurt you. Because, again, that disregards THEIR effort

@@ninashah1252 No it matters if they are Catholic. I don't know if you know English history but Queen Elizabeth I had the entire country convert to Protestantism. The same rule applies for a Muslim marriage: if one is not a Muslim, they must convert or the marriage cannot commence.

A Taira is not a crown and they wear it like that because that’s where it is most comfortable. Those rules for eating are called Manners. Where you place the fork, knife, spoon which fork to use for which course all manners. When your host is done eating then the meal is over. That is why most hosts eat slowly so as to give their guests time to enjoy their meal but, some people talk to much and may not finish. The Host does not have to wait for them and ruin the evening because of a few people. They do wear jeans to dinner just not formal dinners. They have 3 types (maybe more) - state dinners-formal, family dinners- formal, family dinners-informal, intimate dinners-not formal. Whenever they have to use servants they are dressed formally. When they wish to serve themselves (and they do) they can dress how they like. Handshake, I was taught this in school for job interviews, Again Manners. Gifts- Manners, it’s called being gracious. Hats - tradition, practicality, keeping a brutish industry going. Ascot opening day is hat day, riding in a carriage on a sunny day, a hat keeps your hair from blowing around, sun out of your eyes so you don’t squint. Diana started to wear hats for social events and bam, millineries (hat designers) got a boost in business from around the world. These are not hard things and if you were not raised with these Manners would be the only reason you would struggle with them.

Nameless Individual - it means to not go at it like someone is going to take it from you if you don’t eat it right away. You place your fork on the food and insert the fork just enough so it will not fall off the fork. If there is that danger keep the food on the plate and try again, possibly from a different angle. If you can not insert the food without it falling off you turn the fork over and using a knife to scoop the food on the back of the fork and smash it on to the tines just to secure it. If that does not work then you are to leave it on the plate.

Well, they are married now, and she continues to break protocol. I believe that she, as a "Feminist", is asserting herself, and will continue to do so. She is going to break every rule set before her, all the while singing, " I am woman,hear me roar". " I am strong, I am invincible..." I believe that she thinks she is going to change the Monarchy. She probably thinks she knows best how things should be done in " The Firm". Is she related to King Henry VIII ? Maybe she thinks she has his level of power, that can bend, and twist the rules when needed, to suit her.

Their etiquette for the knives and forks is something I grew up with. That’s the only way I use my fork and knife when eating. Balancing food on the back of your fork isn’t that hard 😂😂
