As much effort as this was put in, and as much as I loved it, I feel like it was made too early. Sparkle is right around the corner and she has a high chance to make IL and Jing yuan more convenient to use (no need for speed boots+SP). I guess seele and QQ as well but they aren't really in a dire need for sparkle (In my opinion). Great video overall, super duper informative.

I tried soo hard to force Jingyuan to 4 or at least 5 cycle it with both bronya and sparkles (managed to 3 or 4 cycle it, but god dayum thats hard and soo many retry), can't believe you can do it within 3 cycle with those characters 😅 Managed the second one with Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Luocha and Sparkles ✨

Used blade-pela-bronya-bailu, huohuo-tingyun-ruan mei-dhil through this whole moc cycle, occasionally swapping pela and ruan mei. Definitely a fun rotation, although very difficult with the tanky bosses haha

Thx your video was really helpful, I was clearing first half in 3 cycles with Kafka, blk swan, tingyun, geppy, but the second half was annoying ASF. Adding asta to the Dr ratio team and swapping out silver wolf for pela was really helpful. I clear in 20 with Dr ratio, asta, pela, fu. Thx I was about to level traces.

... and here I am with an 80 crit rate Dr. Ratio... With 100 crit damage. At least he has 4 pc Diver bonus. The alternate is 50/150 which is probably worse overall. I still need to attempt floor 12 on the previous MoC where the turbulence should hopefully make up for the lackluster crit stats.

the intriguing part about Death is that in phase 2, normally Death locks onto 2 characters whoever uses their actions first. however there's an interesting and most likely very difficult way to cheese this mechanic from taking 2 characters. if and only if, by any chance you're lucky enough to only have one character go before Death, especially if its the one you want to be taken, then Watery Dissolution only takes that one character instead of two chars, as long as you didn't press any other ult. this actually makes this moc surprisingly a lot easier to take on. but that's legit the hard part, since the chances of only 1 char lining up before Death's turn in phase 2 doesn't seem very feasible. but its deff possible to happen. if it does then Death becomes a lot easier to deal with in phase 2 since you'll only lose 1 member instead of 2

I had similar setups, but fire MC in the first half instead of March in 1st half, Bailu in 2nd half instead of MC and Guinaifen instead of Pela. Yes, Pela gives more damage, but I used defense and hp relics on Guinaifen and Luka's lightcone, and her Firekiss is a good damage boost! Also, her skill into ult instantly clears meme's statues to revive characters, it's huge.

Wait, why use S3 Genius Repose over S5 Cosmos for Jingyuan? Same ATK buff with a higher and much more reliable CRIT DMG bonus (from 36% to 40%), completely F2P guaranteed. The fact that he was able to reach 3-4 cycles (competitive with Kafka) while on SPD boots and the 4pc Lightning set is also pretty impressive. That clear time would become substantially faster if he were on 4pc Grand Duke and ATK boots. Your Tingyun is on DDD too, so you don't need any SPD to get enough stacks. Like I get 4:21 is mostly a joke, but I think a viewer watching a guide like this deserves to get an up-to-date picture of how strong he actually is (for example: it's literally impossible to farm relics for JY for 6 months when his best relic set came out in 1.5).

How do you have ruan mei in both teams in the first set up?

I used Black Swan, Kafka, Lynx, and Ruan Mei for 1st half and Hanya, DHIL, Luocha, and Tingyun on the 2nd half. Just barely scraped by with 21 cycles remaining. This is the first MoC I was able to full clear though. The last one I got blocked at 12 cause Jingliu was taking 7 cycles to kill the stupid deer.

Dr. Ratio really likes manual play and supports with an ultimate that hits the enemy.

For mov 12 3 star i used Imbibitor Lunae with tingyun, pela and Natasha on the first half On the second half I used dr ratio, welt, ruan mei and Huo huo I did try to use the Kafka, black swan ruan Mei and huo huo comp, but I guess my black swan and or Kafka are just to weak lol

I didnt have a fx to carry either of my sides so i had a +1 on either side of the team. I ran Seele TY SW Lynx and Jingliu Bronya Ruan Mei Luocha so I totalled 9 cycled moc12

Thanks for the guide! I ended up barely getting 20 cycles. Didn't expect to completely ignore my FX and have a surprise fire TB carry. That being said, i found it better for *Pela* to get taken in the first phase given the state of the fight (Dr Ratio being taken as suggested didn't go well at all). I used: 1. March, Sampo, Black Swan, Kafka (4 Cycles) 2. TB, Tingyun, Pela, Ratio (6 Cycles)

Just did a 3 cycle auto with JY, TY, e1 Mei and Huo, JY used s5 Peaceful Day. And I can do a manual 3-2 cycle with Hanya instead of Mei (and some simple sustain with no cc cleanse like Bailu). With all do respect, I don't think that your assessment of him is fair. You use all the typical talking points of people who don't understand how to play him and say that he's mid. Well, at least you don't say the mid part and acknowledge that he can be very strong, so thanks for that) You also make a typical mistake of using speed boots - that is an inferior option for him in every scenario (outside of Pure Fiction). And no, he doesn't need a lot of investment to be good. A Kafka with similar investment and similar teams will perform roughly the same.

Clears with 3 or 4 cycles on average is so crazy All my f2p teams with proper sustains well build dps everything maxed to the best of my capabilities only thing left is relic rng still get an average of 7 cycles per team, can't get the last stars despite the best of my efforts Blade.. I literaly have the chars for some of best Ratio and Blade teams and there's still no way to get it done In my best runs for moc 12 I can narrow it to 5 cycle clear with Fu Clara Ting RM 1st half and then Ratio Topaz SW Luocha for second half but they just never clear in time they need 6 cycles, the boss always had a few hp remaining Seriously my Ratio is on a solid 66/155 2p FuA 2p debuff, thats without his buff and he can get extra crit with the SU hunt cone condition And my Topaz have similar crit ratio full FuA set with an S5 Swordplay, both all traces maxed, Salsotto planar and they still can't get the boss killed in time, I've spent several days reseting so many times that I know the fight perfectly but still.. 3* is unreachable..I can clear just never fast enought I'm at the point I'm sure I've reseted enought to get get a run in which Ratio never missed a crit I'm losing my sanity over this watching guides says how easy it is and still not being able to figure out why I dont have enought dmg like I'm stuck against a wall Honestly losing all motivation in the game I dont know why I bother farming for months to build chars and its still not enought but nice tierlist anyway, biggest issue is we are limited by what we own, saw some Dhil with Sparkle he just obliterate the boss like its nothing, as usual

Dr Ratio + Topaz + Ruan Mei/Asta/Pela + Sustain (preferably Perservation to run Trend of the Universal Market if you don't have enough debuff for Ratio is probably) his best team for floor 12. Ratio and Topaz works off each other really well by quickly killing one target and moving on to the next and Something Unto Death's phase 2 help Ratio and Topaz quickly kill off Something Unto Death since Ratio and Topaz's ult work very well with each other. Something Unto Death being weak to Ratio and Topaz also help significantly.

I love your guides man and I really hate leaving negative comments or getting into any sort of drama but come on man can we please leave the "mid-juan" joke alone? I had him from the first patch (no signature lc) and he carried me through the hardest content and i still use him daily (i have most limited 5 stars on my acc including kafka). comparing him to kafka is not fair since they have completly different gameplay mechanic - dots vs fua crits. It's like comparing a car to a ship like yeah both will get you to a destination but in completly different way. also what high investment that you need to put into him are you talking about? giving him around 60% crit rate and anything from 120% crit dmg or higher like almost any normal dps? especially since we have so many supports now to help out with crits + broken keel. I play him all the time and I ask myself everytime how is he mid? he's strong as he is, sure he's not jingliu or dhil but for an erudition fua character he's absolutely busted imo in every type of content. seeing this much negativity said about a character who is not even bad at all just isn't in the top 10 strongest characters in the game makes my expirience in the fandom (and probably any other players who like using him) unpleasant. all i want is respect especially if the character is not even remotely "mid".

Looks like misinformation from 1.0 is still going strong huh? I was wondering why your JY is doing so little dmg then i notice the traces........please level up his traces, LL is only 60% of his dmg at max and only get lower as there are more enemies on the field, skill and ult make up the bulk of his dmg in AoE and contribute to 40% of his dmg in ST. Also use the new FUA set and atk boots on him, use DDD on TY on TY+RM comp and Planetary on TY+Hanya comp, there's no situation where spd boots is better than atk boots on JY. Edit: I saw his trace level incorrectly but the other points still stand.

I think a core issue not only on Jing Yuan but more so on crit related erudition is that there's not really that much free to play option weapons to utilize their kits. But that's more really into the game state than the character. We don't even have herta weapons for erudition characters while nihility immediately got it. Genius repose and other erudition weapons are majority via gacha so superimpositions can be tricky. Also on the necessity of having Fu Xuan, she does provide comfort but not really a necessity. If the issue is CR then that's practically a build issue on the player's side. and if the issue is CC then anyone with cleanse mitigates it. There's also a lot of issues on your Jing Yuan build. Having a 73/137 Crit Ratio is one. The 2nd is having a speed boots. Tingyun (with eidolons) on DDD + Ruan Mei can guarantee you 10 stack properly so having an ATK boots is better for damage output. Lastly with all due respect, i don't think it's a fair assessment to only label him as someone that needs high investment because frankly speaking all crit related characters does require high investment. High investment for higher dmg output. That itself is the pros and cons on DoT or Crit characters. It's a pity that these incorrect information is still being regurgitated time and time again and the patch is already 2.0
