You are Awesome!! You make everything easy to understand. I have hardly any mechanical aptitude, but your instructions helped me get my carburetor rebuilt and put together correctly. Thank you very much.

Awesome video. Best of class. A couple of observations. On the throttle cam removal it would be nice to mention the two washers during disassembly. Mine stayed attached to the body and while cleaning they both fell off. I was lucky to find them on the floor after the fact but your video did good to show me where they fit. Lastly when I took mine apart (had never been done) the mid-body screws had a little blue loctite on all of them. I put a torch lighter to them for about 8 seconds and they popped loose fairly easily.

Any idea what the diameter of new slide rollers should be so you can work out if they need to be replaced ?

Ive installed back my carb and forgot to put the hot start back. Its really painfull cuz its a plastic thing and im very lazy to put all the carb off again. But bike wont start, can you explain why does the hot start not being well put back affect the starting? I thought it would be for when the bike wont start being hot..

Gday Mate I am about to overhaul my DRZ400E FSR carburetor and found your video helpful Question At the 9:43 mark on your video looking at the slide there are only 3 roller bearings on the slide, is that correct ?

@nwmotogarage Жыл бұрын
You can often pick them up from RockyMountain from a company called Tusk, Motion Pro, or All Balls. Make sure you get a new cable *AND* a plunger rebuild kitz
