I've got to add - become a camp counsellor! Not only are you getting free room, board and food in a new place, you also get paid (and aren't spending that pay) while there, which you can travel with after!

I love the tip “travel slowly, spend less”. I want to do that more moving forward. I find it’s so much nicer to spend more time in one place as you don’t have to rush and be constantly ticking off stuff off your list...you can just relax and take it easy. I just so wish that I had more annual leave in the year so that I can spend more time in one place. Argh

I'm so glad to see this new content you two....really a welcome addition to your repertoire ,and you are so right.... staying longer through any means is the best and most enriching at times ...i worked in Morocco in the 80s it was such an experience, humbling and expansive...( I worked for an agricultural project in equine health)...I can still smell the air in the fertile rivers flowing out of the high atlas in early spring as the landscape bloomed in green ribbons through that amazing landscape and the Rif.and then when the chance to work in post war Croatia on ecological and horticultural reconstruction arose... I leapt at the opportunity and spent part of 3 years in the region I fell in love with Croatia....and i love where i'm from a singularly beautiful part of the N American Rockies(Montana)..,yet Croatia and the Balkans are where i think i want to end up permanently...got to Europe this last week on combo work and VaKay....caught the tail end of Amsterdam light festival and London Lumiere....with pit stop in iceland and the Faeroes...always look forward to your content

We hit about 13 Countries over the course of a year. Our favorites were Scotland, Slovenia, and Germany (Bavaria specifically, mainly for the Christmas Markets and Mountains), though just about everywhere was amazing. You can see our full list at our blog or on our channel. Back home in Montana now for a couple more months before we head to Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico this Spring. -Henry.

This is one of our plans, we don't want to jump around every few days (Not saying that'll never happen) but our goal is to stay at least 2 weeks to 3 months in different cities and become like a "local" knowing all the in's & out's.

Hey!! I have been following you on Instagram for aaaages and I am slowly getting through all your videos, I love how you do them!! Although I’ve not looked already to see if you’ve done something similar, (probably should have but you have a lot of vids;) ) could you maybe do a “what’s in my bag” of essentials to take when traveling?! Because I’m planning on going, but I just know I’ll pack too much of what I don’t need, and not enough of what I’ll need! Thanks xo

Camping is a good way to save money too, I went camping last year for the first time in 20 years and forgot how much fun and cheap it is!

Hi can you help me please I am hoping to travel for at least a year using hostels etc but issue for me is on arrival in Central or S America from my home country of UK how can I stay for longer without having return ticket .. will onward train or bus ticket do instead of expensive flight ticket ?

In three days I'll fly to Southeast-Asia and travel there for six months. I'm like beyond excited :D :D Really want to start a youtube channel, and I already have a blog. My backpack is quite filled with camera gear haha. I really really really want to be a digital nomad, I'll give it my best shot!

Kristen Sarah very anxious, especially during turbulence. I nearly had a panic attack before. I work in an airport so it helps me by learning about planes and how they work, but deep breathing and herbal remedies help too x

You probably know this but its extremely unlikely that your plane will crash. You are more likely to die on the drive to the airport.

so this vegan farm in India was through WWOOF? WWOOF normally has a reg fee per country. unlike Workaway where its 1 fee, at least that's what I've learned. But please tell me more about this farm because as a vegan solo female Canadian wanderer its important to me.
