Jamestown Rediscovery archaeologists Natalie Reid and Caitlin Delmas describe the ongoing archaeology finds at Historic Jamestowne. This includes a description of the previous work that discovered the 1607 palisades of James Fort as well as some artifacts recovered in this work. The video also discusses the current archaeological efforts and how this work will better inform us of how James Fort grew into Jamestown, (i.e., the Capital of the Virginia Colony from 1607 to 1699).
