Jamestown Rediscovery's Archaeological Site Supervisor, Anna Shackelford, describes the recent discoveries at a dig site located at the southeast corner of the 1607 James Fort. This includes a review of artifacts which have come out of the ground this week. Subsequently, Merry A. Outlaw, (Senior Curator) discusses one significant artifact, i.e., a piece of a Ming Dynasty bowl. Merry's information includes when and where the bowl was created and where in the world other examples of this ceramic have been discovered.
