Today im taking a look at the Yeezy Pod Sneaker & the New $20 Clothing line that released alongside it. This is the first Yeezy Sneaker that released after the Adidas x Yeezy split & its pretty different to say the least. The Yeezy pod is basically a Yeezy Sock shoe, its made from a sock & a sole.. thats it. They also only come in 3 sizes which has led many people to wonder if they will fit or not.

@@CookieDee11 wrong it seems to me like he did it to actually buy the materials. he was apparently bankrupt before this so to even start production he needed money. that's where the pre order $200 came in. he takes the money puts it into the production of the shoes then once he has enough produced and makes enough money back to be out of debt he gives the refunds.

This is going to be a great travel/airport "shoe". Because they look like socks, I don't think TSA will be asking you take them off. Even if they do, the comfort of wearing "socks" around will make for a more enjoyable airport shoe

@alvingrace5457 Because people that bought them in December and beginning of Janurary barley got them, meaning the people that bought them when they became available for $20 won't see them for about two months. So it is definitely for those that don't want to wait 2 months. But even now they are barley reselling for $60+ and they are definitely from the people that paid $200 got scammed like myself who also bought a bunch for $20 but I'm starting to realize they probably aren't returning the $180 to me like I heard they would, so I probably got scammed again.

These are gonna go crazy in the gym or on trips like long flights. Ye has described himself as an essentialist and I think these perfectly reflect that. My Yeezy GAP hoodie quickly became one of my favorite items of clothing because it’s a high quality hoodie that’s as warm as some coats I own, and it was cheap enough to where I’m ok with wearing it in any scenario and actually living in it. I own expensive designer hoodies that I barely wear because I don’t want to ruin them. I love that Ye wants to make the antithesis, clothes to actually use and fill a function as opposed to something that sits in your closet until you’re trying to flex. Our current world needs more products like that, especially in fashion. Looking forward to getting my pair.

I am all for it! I have been obsessed with ninja shoes since a child so I went ahead and purchased a pair of pods and a tee for myself. You can’t be the prize! After doing so, I was also gifted a couple of pods by my partner and a tee. I cannot wait for them to arrive as I hope it brings some type of relief to my feet.

I am a tts 9 and 9.5 in Yeezy shoes and I got a 2 cause idk if this runs small or tight especially with a Sock on so I didn’t get a 1 cause it said 8.5 and didn’t want my toes at the tip gotta have some space and wiggle room

I bought the pods the other day out of sheer curiosity. I love taking fashion risks but a lot of times I just struggle to find it worth the money. But for $20? We ball. If I end up liking them, I'd probably reach out for a bunch of other pieces in his collection. The shirts look really interesting. But absolutely worst case, I'll wear the pods while doing light workouts at home

I was going to buy the Yeezy Pods when I saw they were $20. But then I saw that shipping was like $80 (I live in Australia) so it wasn't really worth it at that point. Hopefully Kanye can sort out his distribution and make it cheaper

I purchased the box shirt and pods for $20 each. I like the affordability aspect and the minimalist appeal. I think we get lost in the "sauce" of being flashy and over the top with most things in life. Sucks that all the extra stuff had to happen to dampen this movement. I find Ye’s aesthetic most appealing, its comfort over flashiness, its quality over brand exposure and that’s something that I like, yes I indulge on the occasional designer stuff, but ultimately what I appreciate is quality and comfort, which is something that his partners in manufacturing do He’s really changing the game again, showing that an avant garde design can be mass produced and sold and affordable prices without compromising in any aspect

I find Ye’s aesthetic most appalling, it’s zero sense of style, it’s comfort over aesthetics. It’s money + brand exposure over quality, and that’s something I hate. No, I don’t indulge on designer stuff, that would be financially irresponsible, because ultimately what I appreciate is quality and worth, not hype or status, or brand name - which is something Ye focuses on. He’s really playing y’all again, showing that sheep will still buy horrendous garbage products to act “cool” around their friends, while compromising every aspect of their own integrity.

Bottega is a designer brand that has some too for an extremely huge price tag but I totally agree with your point. I'm getting tired of the whole Yeezy hive mind at this point. Anything Yeezy releases or does has to be a topic of discussion. I'm at the point that I just want everyone to move on and just show us some different brand designers or something.

@@ExcuseMyStutter I loved Yeezy sneakers, not so much now, not sure why I’ve just gone off them, the 350’s were cool but I just like 700’s now… let’s face it if these were in primark for £20 people wouldn’t touch them because they look horrible, you get a cheap bag with them and on foot look ridiculous - even worse is Yeezy have tried to redesign the sizing which weirdly doesn’t work because we already have a system in place that does! Thought it was bad enough buying a Yeezy a size bigger than I needed in previous models but this is shake your head stuff 😂😂

I bought the pods and am excited for them to arrive. I don’t want to “ruin” my only pair, so I will likely use them as house shoes only. If they work out, I’d buy another pair for outside wear.

More comfortability rather than practicality, definitely good walk around the house, relax and run a quick errand type of shoes, but rain, mud, hiking, and various other activities that wouldn’t be so great. Still going for a pair.
