My gosh my electric bill is over $ 200 a month here in the US and my lawn and pest control are higher than $ 200 also. My property taxes are $ 7k per year so what am I saying? Time to sell and move to beautiful Thailand - LOL.

Great review. It is very interesting that even in Bangkok you can find “walk up Cheap Charlie” apts in Thai neighborhoods for $60/ month and much better ones in this price range. As long as you have decent access to public rail transport it’s all good. Just wondering whether the rooftop pool accessible by elevator?

It's so weird to me that most pools in Thailand don't have any hand rails for getting in and out of the pool. As a senior, I could get in - just turn around and fall, LOL, but I'd never be able to get back out 🤣

Simple little condo but the facilities, the proximity to the LARGE shopping center and the tram into the city proper...make the $200 a bargain.

Last place u showed was great for $200. Only thing missing is stove or cooktop. I know ovens r rare, but no stovetop or exhaust fan. Can't even buy them for lack of exhaust. I guess that's to b expected for very low rent.

lol go to ny 1 smaller then this is 2-3k monthly.In Thailand its not about chilling in your house all day its really for sleeping and wash up. The rest of the time your out and about doing things.

Most of people who knows bangkok are those shopping malls like Central world or MBK mall, this condo is almost 2hr away located almost the end of purple line in the country side, also $200/mo is a 1 yr lease?

I guess the rent is in Thai Bath, which is the official currency of Thailand? This video would be awesome with the correct info, but now it's pretty much useless for us not getting our pension in dollars... And you can get the same style of condo for the same or less in a more central location of Bangkok in walking distance to a BTS/MRT for approx the same price.

I can’t believe that I accidentally saw this video and I used to live there at that condo 3 years ago with my Thai boyfriend, I used to hate that place because I was the only farang there and everyone on the street used to stare at me and I was happy every time I saw other farang and it was also too far from Bangkok , I never enjoyed the facilities of that place but right now it looks rather good to me 🤪

I think if many have been working in a 1st World country most of their life, they would've made something like at least 10x the pay of the average Thai every month. So for expats, it's dirt cheap. But for locals, it's not. The more highly-paid expats live here, perhaps the harder it becomes for locals to find a decent place.

There all cheap. This are cheap and has a pool, because you need a long time to Bangkok. You also find Rooms in Bangkok for 180 €/$ per months without pool and other service. Just cleaning the room are included.
