Marker that paint job came out sick. Beautifull finish work. You are amazing whether you're the 100 dollar paint or whether it's a more prestige quality 300 hundred dollar higher quality paint base. 1 coat is for cheap jobs. Yes it is that high of solids content 1 coat is really all you need if your not wet sanding or buffing. I spray it un reduced so I'm spraying full 45% solids clear.

If your doing alot of heavy sanding to a car it's usually best right before paint to lay a thin coat of primer sealer to seal off any contaminants and fill in minor prep scratches

I'd like to see the actual bill for the products used. Also exactly how much product was used. You might be able to get enough base and clear to cover it for $200. But you'd better have everything ready to spray at one time and you'd better not make any mistakes. Not to mention all the things you need to prep the car before painting. Sandpaper, scuff pads, tape, masking paper, wax and grease remover, paint gun cleaner, and that's assuming you already have a paint gun, hose to reach far enough to paint the car, a compressor big enough to paint the car, and a booth or garage clean enough to use as a booth. But then you need plastic, a fan, filters, and a lot more. It's only cheap if you have, or have access to most of the stuff needed. To a guy with no garage or access to one, it's gonna be a whole lot more than $200 to paint anything

They want you to mix it 3 to 1. I mixed it 2:1. 3:1 it was to thick

I am in california and the speedokote website says I cant buy european clear coat. it says I have to get a different clear coat for california. Do you know if there is any difference in the quality of the clear coat besides a slight increase in price for the california clear?

Hey I'm a beginner on spraying cars. Is it ok to spray fast whit full fan full fluid ? Or two and a half turn out whit full fan and 6 inches away from the car ?

I recently have changed up how I spray. Now I spray alot closer, fluid and fan wide open and get faster better coverage. Just don't forget to do your drop coat. Pull the gun back on last coat and mist the paint on so mettalics lay nice and even

This isant speedokote base. However i wouldn't recommend buying this paint I used. It looked cool, but simply was not durable and didn't hold up well.

Speedokote everything minus the color. Color is starburst orange mettalic from startfire paints. It's crap but for 108 bucks I can deal with it. Requires a primer sealer or one colored ground coat for it to work properly
