Add the Redcat V2 portal axle conversion kit for the Gen 7. Night and day difference.

I'm doing the same just waiting for them to arive and I got the metal servo horn bc they break along and I'm on my second front axle and transmission lol

My kid and myself have beat in it. Think rev finally died. It maybe switch. Been a few years so I’ll fix it up kids seem interested again

Totally guessing here, but that shut down seems like an over load protection of some kind. And perhaps a faulty one that's over sensitive.

I'll check that guy out. Was that $200cdn? What they ding you for shipping, duties, tax, etc? We get so screwed up here compared to the States and the two local shop have sweet f-all. Really sad. I've checked out some of the little guys down in the States like Texoma RC, MoFo, Mazz. With $ conversion, shipping, duties, tax, we're hitting triple the price.

@@Rt-ig4bk Yeah, it's a real bummer. I understand guys like Josh wanting to print their own designs and sell them. Better money for them and less chance of being ripped off by someone with their own printer or some arseholez in China. If I had the computer skills, I'd be tempted to sit down with a bunch of the guys in the states doing great designs and do a contract for printing and shipping in Canada. That way we get a more affordable price and they still make a cut for their design work. Would be a win for all I think as it would likely increase sales.

Can the gear ratio be changed?… it’s Jerky and not as realistic as I’d want it to be.

I'm seeing it for $229 online. I wouldn't get anything under 1/10 scale. At over 65 the smaller crawlers have tiny parts, nightmare for the old and feeble. This to me is a good bargain. If a person doesn't have $300 this is what I'd get before anything else. $350+ is a huge step up in quality. Wish my local store had them. Im not going to pay $350+ for a Gen 7 at my local shop. Um no.

I broke something in the front axle yesterday, one wheels is flopping like a fish. I had no idea it would break in one week. I knew I should of got the Pro for $50 more. Hopefully my shop can get parts to fix it. Not too happy right now.

Update, my fault it bent the axle, due to running it into the rocks at speed. 100% my fault, I wanted people to know it was damaged from misuse not crawling. It's fixed, I'm happy. I'm new to the hobby, and found out these aren't for bashing. Planning on getting a Gen 9 this summer. Thanks.
