You drive it way to fast to get a good idea of how realitic the suspensiom is, its a crawler. Not a bouncer

I’m playing with setup in a basically stock Deadbolt. I have upgraded to Emax servo (stock unit died first week crawling shoes, and slippers the first week), also went with a 2 speed over driven trans, and a “Maker Fire 50 turn high torque motor, and brass hex’s (mostly for durability) . Still running 2s batt, stock links, tires. I got the 43mm Injora shocks with the adjustable collar and have the springs wrapped above the adjuster to give me about 1/8th inch up travel. Had to limit front droop with rubber band to prevent driveshaft separating on droop while handling it. Have not had an issue yet while driving, but it also helps plant it on climbs. I intend to modify stock stuff as much as possible before resorting to after market to keep it cheap. I have seen binding between the drive shaft and the upper wishbone with this setup (looking for recommendations on a dremmel type tool to clearance that.) recently found a deal on the micro comodo, going to Furitek Lizard pro with the front overdriven trans, and S3 battery. Future considerations are brass knuckles, and upgraded wheels / tires (injora steels / rc4wd good years in vented with BB’s for weight. Pretty sure I will then need to upgrade axle shafts

Thanks, this helped me decide the Deadbolt is best for me. I enjoy tinkering and modding and this looks like a great choice.

Hi! Late to the vid but love what i saw. Tip: If you have not done so already. Invest in the FIRMA brushless system for these lil guys. You get so much more low throttle control. Well worth the 50 bucks. I too have the high clearance links on my C10 and love em! Also the Injora oil filled shocks are pretty smooth. Just make sure the shaft "O" ring cap isn't screwed down too tight or they will get stuck. "Rock" on my dude!🤘

Just got me one ..I like it, for what it is its pretty decent. I haven't got started on my 24th scale course yet, but I set up a 2x6 as a ramp layed it on my 0 turn mower and it climbed right up it . Probably will modify it later on Thanks for the video
@josephcox43192 ай бұрын
I operate dozers and I can tell you this is definitely not even close to being 1:25th or 24th scale and the fact is diecast masters is the only RC dozer that is to scale sadly don't know why the makers get the scale wrong on all the RC equipment.

Can the gear ratio be changed?… it’s Jerky and not as realistic as I’d want it to be.

@wingnutbert96853 ай бұрын
I guess with the taller truck, it's a matter of overcoming the CoG. As long as you can put enough lead close to the ground, the body height and weight should be less and less a factor. But it's having enough room to mount the weight and the motor and trans that can handle it. I do love the look of the F150. I guess the best scenario is having a crawler and scaler each. Then you don't have to be compromising performance over scale or the other way around.

My tractor like this only works on control for a maximum of 1 minute, even with the battery and charged batteries. Do you know what this could be? Is there a solution? What is the average normal operating time?

I have these boulders in my yard and I decided to dig up the “whole” jagged rock and I have a huge rock crawler course it’s about 30 feet long curved rock with ledges and stuff and I have some old rusty pieces of metal I made into ramps ( Rust makes it more grippy) Cheers mate
