@@qwoey That'd be cool, but no, there is a clarinet somewhat in the middle of bass and contrabass, and one of the three bass players at my school. me being one, owns a contra alto. It sounds awesome Edit: Also i looked it up and apparently the Contra alto is technically a Contrabass, just a E flat contrabass. 👍

@@todcroft6435 not really, there is a bass guitar but it is a Spanish instrument in Spain. Lay people do call the electric bass a guitar, but it's not. String basses have 4 strings mostly. BTW the entire name is BASS VIOLIN

Now, try playing a plastic trombone with a metal mouthpiece. I use a mouthpiece from my alto and tenor trombones at church and I sound great!!

I think it also has a lot to do with the mouthpiece, it might be even more the mouthpiece than the trombone. You should try that one next.
