I was so excited when I went to the ATM and got $500 in brand new $20 in sequensetional order ❤😂 that's how I know I am a budgeter!! Counting them sucked but I went home and condescend my binder to save as many as possible ❤

❤❤ I'm not sure why the condensing is everyone's favorite, including mine. Maybe because we get to see all the totals saved at once or something. I'm really studying the method so when I do mine, I can keep making change like you do and make it work. That's what is fun, also, seeing how you puzzle solve it all.

Love the bill swaps. Might as well put big bills in Costco since you never leave there spending less than a hundred. They always have change unlike Aldi which is much smaller. Our ATMs give fifties, twenties and fives, but another branch of the same credit union only gives twenties. I hate having a wallet stuffed with twenties since I pretty much do all cash payments other than online bill payments for utilities, insurance, etc. Most companies out here in the wilds of Montana insist on online payments to do business with them. Some places freak out if you give them more than a twenty for payment as if you are giving them fake money if buying fast food. It is not unusual here to see some guy peel off a stack of hundreds and fifties at the grocery store or a big box store.I haven't seen anyone write a check in more than six months at a grocery store or Target. While debit and credit cards are used a lot, the fees mount up for small businesses so I try to pay them in cash for example the vet, haircuts, the hardware store, etc.

My closest credit union doesn’t have tellers…only the personal teller machines (PTM). You talk to the teller thru the machine…kind of like FaceTime. If I want other denominations I have to special request them….that’s how I get the $2’s. The people working in person only process loans and open accounts etc. I’m glad they offer most bills but I miss going to an actual teller. Thanks for watching! 💚😊

I love watching these condensing videos! I do have a question though, how do you take the big stack to the bank? Like do you split it up in different bank bags and do you go up to the regular cashier or do you make an appointment? 🤔 inquiring minds want to know. I’ve yet to amass enough in any of my binders for such a large deposit so I’m all anxious about having to take it in once I do have enough.

Great question! I usually separate each denomination by $100’s with a rubber-band. Then I put it in grocery bags so it doesn’t look obvious I have a bag of money. I take it to the bank and they use their money counting machine (I don’t make an appointment). Fun fact…last quarter I was off by $100 and I just accepted what they told me. Later in the day they called me and told me that my count was right and they missed a stack of $5’s!😂 💚😊
