Keep in mind that the "strut tower bars" (bars directly connecting the shock towers) are named that for a reason. It is basically purely aesthetic on double wishbone cars: They provide an imperceptible difference unless the car actually has a strut suspension. Sway bars are way more relevant for double wishbones.

@@MrCarGuy how come it doesn’t really stiffen the strut towers a double wish bone suspension car? I thought since it’s a strut bar it would help strengthen the strut towers, but I would like to know why it wouldn’t cause a difference on a double wish bone car?

Not true at all There's noticeable difference on old chassis' say from the late 80s early 90s As the structures became stronger through the generations the bars do less

@@heyitsdurancitooo5212 Regardless of being double wishbone the strut tops still take vertical force which these bars stop and also box the engine bay You can 100% feel it in the steering I'm not arguing that it helps handling but steering feels much more direct

The EP3 is a good car. The EK9 would be an upgrade from that but one that comes at a stiff cost. You might save some money if you just buy an NB Miata on the side.

I wish I could but it goes against the auctions rules. You have to find videos like that on channels that don't actually sell cars. Otherwise the auction houses might take our license. They don't mess around and it's really a shame. I loved shooting those videos.

Those Jettas are awesome. 2800cc VR6 with a 6 speed manual. That one was only there to be lifted up for shipping.

i'm a year late, But likewise. If i had the money and resources, I'd love to take a coupe from the same generation, And make it into a Type-R as much and authentic as possible. It wouldn't make it a true Type-R but it would give the experiene of what a Type-R coupe could be. Which is an idea/concept i've had in my head for years now.

Carpets are definitely aftermarket. Original ones are completely red. Still have a spare set 😅

You are right about sway bars. They are probably the best upgrade apart from tires. For the tower bars you are speaking truth. On a double wishbone car, you will probably only really notice if you are racing on a track but it's a cheap enough part that it makes sense to put on. Hence why many manufactures have them as factory on their cars with double wishbone suspension.

Not until they are 25 years old. They started in 1998 (a year after the EK debuted) so next year they will be legal. Bring a wheelbarrow of money.

Sorry, most cars we buy go to dealers and they aren't shared on the channel. The Autech Primera was absolutely a gem. It's the best an SR20 has ever felt to me.

@@PacificCoastAuto no worries;p..just compaining to complain;)..i know everything about them n seen enough of photos n a couple videos..in essence primera p10 is more than colse to me as i still own a couple of them since 2002, so i know them to a single bolt.
