What's going on you guys?! Today we are going over some updates with our $2000 auction Lexus SC430 build. I figured I may as well just ball out and completely rebuild this SC430 with no expenses spared. We are going to be completely redoing the exterior again, and redoing the interior along with tons of custom work. Stay tuned for this HUGE transformation that you won't want to miss! By the time I'm done with this SC430 it'll be better than new, and could be YOURS!
First on our to-do list is fixing the mechanical issues so we can get it drivable and out on the roads. In todays video we replace the ABS/skid control module to try and fix some current issues. It ends up resolving some problems, but also gives us some new issues. I am going to take the car to a Lexus specialist mechanic here next but if you guys have any ideas what the problems/signs in this video are from please let me know!!! Sounds like it’s an alarm, maybe something with the security system? I’d try looking up other ways to possibly reset the electronics?? Good luck

You could try and just turn the stereo up. Might not fix the issue but you wouldn't have to hear the high pitch noise....

That sound is from the abs failure alarm. You can simply stop the alert by disconnecting the plug below the steering column. There is a KZfaq video about this.

The transmission issue: You can drain some of your fluid and add some Lucus trans fix. If that doesn’t help drop your pan and and pull the solenoids. Test them by putting 12 volts to them. The abs vcs vsc off most likely is the passenger wheel sensor. You can check it with a meter. Then when you do the reset with the paper clip. I think you have to turn the key to the on position. It will start flashing start the car then turn it off. It should clear.

Not a problem. The Lucus works really good. If you don’t have a code for the solenoids, I would start with the Lucus. I might want to buy it if the price is right.

@Atlanticbeachcustoms it's been about two weeks now lol. Question my brake light all of sudden came on. I put brake fluid in it but I'm starting to think it might be what you said the brake master cylinder?

@@brianmanson7285 Hmm do you have any other symptoms related to your brakes? Does your braking feel normal? When I replaced that brake master cylinder in my part 7 video it did get rid of my brake and ABS light on the dash! But before I had virtually no braking so if your brakes still feel fine I’m not entirely sure if it would be that master cylinder.

LOL--glad you could locate your 10mm. There's a Clarkson/Hanmond joke in there somewhere, I'm sure. 😁 I am inclined to agree with @tinochoi4688 who said that sounds like the ABS failure alarm. I think I have encountered it before somewhere--maybe in a video? I am actually glad you decided to yank the wrap. Not a big fan of gray paint/wraps (just personal preference--always reminds me of primer).

Yes he was right, and I have already gotten rid of the sound!👏🏼😄 I’ll be going over it in the next video but it was simply an alarm connected to the skid control module. Yes my grudge with the grey is it does look like primer. I’m thinking for the new look gloss black wrap with chrome badges and silver wheels? I picked up some new wheels and they are SWEEEET. Totally changes the look of the car
