I feel like their looks aged well. They never got too trendy. Like Disney pop trendy lol. I can look at their past outfits and still feel inspired. Especially with Ashley. One thing for certain, those ladies have amazing taste.

Ugh they are just ICONS!!! This is (as always) such a brilliant breakdown of their style evolution, and it's so cool to see how their style stayed true to themselves, yet really evolved over time!

I loved this era! I remeber wanting ALL these bags. I wonder if we will ever have an iconic bag again, styles change so quickly I feel they don't have the chance.

I have the Proenza Schouler PS1 but keepall version. It kind of gives that birkin vibe. Plus mine is well loved and floppy and I love it. I use it to bring food into the theater a lot 😂

Love the video! Just a fun note about the Fendi Twins tote. The version Ashley carried was actually a vintage Fendi bag. So many people asked for it after seeing her wear it that Fendi then reissued the bag due to the demand (about a year after she was seen wearing it) with the new name "Twins Tote". The handles from the reissued "Twins tote" are a bit different from the original vintage one.

Their early style is what inspired mine. Some of my favorite bags are the Nightingale and the proenza schoulder and bags that that similar. The fendi twins tote is my FAVORITE. they're hand bag choices have never went undercover to me they're my favorite of their outfits

I appreciate how they treated their stuff as literally stuff to be used and not babied. They focused on quality AND style and that's HOW they were able to truly get the most out of their well loved bags imo.

I remembered everybody in Los Angeles was wearing Balenciaga city bag. Of course I bought mine. I stopped using it for 5 years. Now I started to use it again. Also bought the Givenchy nightingale. I have not seen anyone wearing this handbag so I stopped using mine.

In regards to the Olsens bag collection… I remember they would share this beautiful Ann Demeulemeester bag with long shoulder straps and extra long zipper. I thought it was so minimal and cool. I’d still purchase one today on the second hand market! Ugh they have so many great bags hahaha!

The Alexander Wang Rocco bag! I got one in the early 2010’s off eBay and its so heavy but i still love it 😊

I love the evolution of their style, ashley especially. One of their most memorable bags was Ashley's croc fendi tote. For mary kate i remember her having a tie dye miu miu clutch she carried quite a bit.

It's funny but i keep all my old bags that i still love so, i still have my Mombasa from YSL (exquisite nappa leather), my Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiere bags, my Bottega Veneta by Tomas Maier bags (fun fact Tomas Maier was one of the designers of Hermes RTW in the 90's right before Margiela. Tom Ford chose him because he wanted BV to be the Hermes of the group). The twins made me so obsessed about the Fendi crocodile bag. It was the first bag i actually bought from Vestiaire Collective back in the day. In perfect condition! They stopped making that bag unfortunately in the early 2010's. I really subscribe to their way of using their bags. I don't baby my bags because they have a function. I'm really against wearing something that you should care too much about.

they both are mainly know for oversized bags also that's what i love about them! well i love everything about them have since full house lol i even worse pretty much tll there shoes and clothing as a kid and preteen lol and also there brand is very luxurious but they have said they like to mix there luxurious brand with normal peaces and mix it up that's what they wanted to show that's its not only abut the luxury

The Fendi Spy was the first luxe bag I noticed as a adult. I first saw Tracee Ellis Ross wear it on the show Girlfriends.
