Important note - I made an error in the dual charging. It's the EcoFlow that can dual charge solar and AC at 2400w, not the Anker. That's another point for EF and one taken away from Anker.

That’s great! Though, even if it didn’t, I would still choose Ecoflow because it can charge faster on solar.

Thank you for pointing out the error in the video. It's great to see that the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max has the ability to dual charge both solar and AC at 2400W. That definitely gives it an advantage over Anker SOLIX F2000. For outdoor enthusiasts like us, the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series seems like a promising option with its massive capacity, fast recharging, and waterproof technology. It's definitely worth considering for our outdoor adventures and home backup power needs.

It could be a fantastic option for outdoor enthusiasts like us!

The Ecoflow has it right in terms of outlet positioning. USB in front where you're more likely to be swapping things in and out, the 110 outlets on the back where you plug in once and forget about them, also with them in the back all the 110 cords are out of the way, making less a mess of cords/wires in front.

If anyone is on the fence about expansion, the Bluetti expansion batteries can be charged separately and also power devices separately. They are essentially they're own power stations with expansion connectivity to the Bluetti units.

If ecoflow had their shit together and did this I wouldn't even be shopping right now. I want a portable base unit with the ability to add more power so I could use it as a compact camping setup and emergency home power supply. I think it's asinine that they don't at least allow charging separate from the unit with some basic accessibility like a USB port and a 110 outlet or something

Hey Matt, So we have been racking our brains (my wife and I) on all the reviews and videos on all these power stations. We finally purchased a unit today while they all have major discounts. Your video was the last one we watched cause I couldn't watch anymore. So our use is going to be for our RV trailer. We went with the Anker F2000, reason being it has the large 30 amp plug but also another reason was for the easy set up on the solar panels on the Anker brand. The set up for the panels on the EcoFlow were just not a good sturdy stand. Thanks for the reviews. Look forward to watching more of your videos. Rob.

Good stuff, thanks for the reviews. We love our Anker 767 and will be using it to power a camper in the future. Although, I do wish it had an alternate 12v output like the others. Goal Zero has a 12V/30A output with a HPP connector (reoriented anderson I think) which seems amazing to keep it from popping out like the cigarette plugs.

Great review. We love our Bluetti AC200 (1700w) that we bought a second AC200MAX. For the main reason of expandability to 8192 watt. The second reason was the 30amp aviation plug under the 12DC power plug. Which can easly be wired up to a main panel to run up 30 amps. For example we keep our Bluetti in our back seat of our pick-up. We will be wiring up power back to our GFC for USB and 12DC plug for the diesel heater. The Bluetti also dominates in efficiency with min power loss and the Ecoflow coming in second. The Anker is the worst. So for us the Bluetti is the winner for our applications. 😊 Mark (& Teresa) Hampstead Maryland • Purpose Built Adventure Rig • Ford Ranger - GFC Camper V2 #1919

Watched your channel for the first time, really enjoyed it and very well done. I'm an EcoFlow fan too. Have 2 Delta max 2000 that I did a discharge test using a 30 amp plug adapter to connect it to my Class B RV. As my knowledge of these power banks increase so does my confidence in myself and these units. Anyway, by using the 30 amp adapter I was able to run my A/C 13,500 BTU Coleman Mach II for well over an hour. The trick was to slowly start the unit by using low fan, than high fan, than low cool, and finally at high cool without using a soft start device. The trick was to keep the amperage below 15 amps, these was done with the lights out while still using my 6 cu. ft fridge. Amps surged to 12 amps and settle down to between 6 and 8 amps. Also tested the barrel ports on my first gen river pro which are 5521 ports by using an adapter with a female 12V cigarette plug to run my 45 qt 12V fridge / freezer and it gave me an extra 2 hours of run time . FYI I went ahead and subscribed, hope I can learn from you. Thank you for sharing your information.

Just had my first opportunity to use my Bluetti 200Max to run the frig and charge phone, lap tops w/ charge cubes and LED floor lamps. Only had a 4 hour grid power outage and got to 80% battery usage. Happy with the results. My smaller Bluetti ran my CPAP on 12VDC adapter for the 4 hours also and got down to 50%. Plan to add a main panel change over with certain house circuits to provide direct power to kitchen and a bedroom to conserve heat and power uses. Also, Bluetti has a rewards program that you can redeem for camp gear, multi meter and other fun items. For longer term outages I plan to add at least one B200 battery unit. Have the solar panels for 750W of charge. =D=

@retnav92 thank you! I've been looking for this kind of commentary. People are saying it's so much quieter but nobody's staying any kind of decibel level or anything. I really interested in the ecoflow as a power station for a small cargo trailer conversion camper! I'm going to have minimal solar so the quick charging on AC is important to me and another guy did a great video on a 12 to 24 volt module you can hook up to your car's battery as long as your alternator is strong enough and charge it up in a couple hours at idle if it gets necessary so you don't have to carry a generator with you! I'm curious what you were set up to recharge it is in your camper?
@retnav92
@retnav92 9 ай бұрын
@@NoZenith This was my first actual use of the Delta2Max. I've been running a Delta2, which is a great little unit, but I would usually top it off with a generator on the 2nd day once it got down to around 25% "juice" remaining. Still plenty of "juice" left in it, but I like to keep it charged higher. Bought the D2Max, and it's a world of difference. I use my EF units to run a BougeRv 12v 48qt fridge/freezer unit, and a Keurig coffee maker. The biggest drain on units is heating water via the AC receptacle. Anyway, ran the fridge/freezer (pre-cooled at home, and plugged into 12v truck receptacle enroute to camp) from around 7pm Friday night in camp, until about 11am Sunday. Made 5-6 cups of coffee with the Keurig over the course of our stay. When we left Sunday, the D2Max was still around 46% remaining capacity, which is still a lot. As I mentioned, it was very quiet being just 2ft from me on a rear shelf in the rear of my 5x9 Hiker Trailer, and I didn't have to run the generator to top off the D2Max. I carry a WEN 56235i (2350w) inverter generator with me for recharging duties when camping. Great little unit (imo), and quiet. I run it in Eco mode to extend fuel consumption. I also run the 12v fridge/freezer in Eco mode.

My unit died after 6 weeks sitting idle after a full charge. Customer support has done nothing but tell me how sorry they are and are working to expedite my problem. I still have an Anker power pack from over 2 years ago that still holds its charge. I really wish there was a comparison with Jackery. They are another formidable brand that can go head to head. Also, as far as I have found only Jackery and Anker have shock/drop protection. Ecoflow is very delicate (per the instruction manual).

Saw the Anker rep yesterday and he said said theirs could, because with the extra battery added, the power pulled from the extra expanded one first, and when that was empty only then pulled from the main unit which allowed you to then recharge the extra expanded unit whilst your power supply was pulling off the main unit.

Ok, so I'm a little late on seeing this (lol). Great review - exactly what I was looking for. Two things: 1) I'm pretty sure the Ecoflow can output and charge from solar at the same time, can the other two also? 2) If they cost the same, cool, but it would have been nice to include the price for the solar panels and ease of setup for each product. Thanks.

I really enjoyed the recent Shootout and review but I have a question. You mentioned that the Anker 767 can do 2400W of charging when using solar plus AC. I can't find that anywhere on the specs that shows this. It says that when solar and AC charging are both used it will favor AC by default. Was this recently changed with a firmware update? If so that would be great. Even better would be if Solar charging was favored by default when both are available.
@njtexit8
@njtexit8 9 ай бұрын
It is probably because the manual says you can get 1440W max with AC charging and 1000W max with solar charging. Since there are different inputs for AC and solar, it seems they are saying you can do both at the same time. 1440W + 1000W = 2440W.

I'm an EcoFlow fan and own the 1st gen of the Delta max 2000 and also the Delta 2. I have the 160 solar panels and the 220 bi-facial panels. Night before last we lost power in our entire neighborhood from 5 transformers blowing from a major storm. Lost power for more than 23 hours. I used only one bi-facial solar panel to replenish my Delta max 2000 which was used to power my residential fridge which uses between 300 to 120 watts when it runs. My solar panel was averaging between 200 and 235 watts of output on a partly cloudy day. I was able to fully charge my Delta max while running my fridge and I piggy backed 2 jackery 500's to charge from it also . The con about the bi-facial solar panel is that it does not have stands to lean on , and is a little heavy and cumbersome without the stands.

@Etheoma
@Etheoma 6 ай бұрын
Personlly I think the Anker should get a point for USB ports as well, because of the 3 x 100W ports you can charge 2 laptops and a phone off those and then 2 other lower power USB powered devices, and really you can hook up any more low powered devices with a 12V to USB power hub. And the 12V 30A port on the Bluetti is for hooking up to the 12V system of your van / RV so you can hook up everything to the ports in your RV or Van, including USB ports and stuff like that, and with 12V 30A you can hook up a 12V fridge, a 12 V freezer and a 12V heater and still have the cigarette lighter port open for either like a full fat 12V device or a lot of smaller 12V devices.

One thing I wish I would see covered more in reviews is if you can consume the power while solor charging simotanuously. I made a mistake purchasing one that you could not, which defeated the purpose for me due the sun and my hours needed occur at the same time. I'm thinking the same thing. I've been shopping the Wave 2 since I'm trying to set up a cargo camper conversion for next summer and buying the dedicated battery doesn't make any sense since it only has one USB port and you have to have it locked onto the wave unit even charge it and it having the older battery chemistry so it's only good for a fraction of the time of a LiFePo battery... I'm here to compare other batteries like this Delta 2 Max and skip the dedicated battery

@@NoZenith sure thing! and you can calculate it yourself too. These hold about 2kWh. So if your heater uses 1kW, it would run for 2 hours. If it used 2kW, it would run for 1 hour. Basically divide the kWh capacity by the wattage of the device to get runtime in hours.
@NoZenith
@NoZenith 6 ай бұрын
@JustEnjoyingLife73 that part of the math I can most certainly do! It's trying to figure out how many kilowatt hours and 8000 BTU media inverter air conditioner my parents have needs to run on medium throughout the night. Parents are old and Mom is in ill health not dealing well with hot and humid. There have been some great issues and she lives out in the country so just running one window unit to keep the address in the bedroom would be nice. Also running the refrigerator! Trying to educate myself and I appreciate when people are as helpful as you since I definitely don't come for an electrical background and as I'm doing my research it seems I keep mixing up the AC and DC and kilowatt hours and amperages versus voltage kind of equations 😅 it's just so very much information even though I understand most of the stuff I read, I just can't quite get the crossover to relate it to the bigger picture. Thanksgiving Day sale I purchased one Delta 2 max battery for myself, one for my parents and a smart generator to share since we only live about 30 Mi apart but we're on two completely separate grids, along with the waterproof covers for the Delta Max since they're the same footprint. Hoping I don't regret this haha. My parents and I have both been concerned about backup since the big ice storm a few years ago that both our houses lucked out end not being out of power for more than one day for a lot of people are out of power for up to nine days in 17° weather. Anyway thanks so much for your input. The only thing I want to do now is get an electrician to put an outlet on our forced air furnaces so we can actually plug directly into them and power them as a standalone item in emergencies.
