Decided to pick up Aftermarket OEM style 2008+ Taillights on amazon. These look so much better than those F150 taillights 99-07, looks more modern and sharper. Makes the truck look newer. I used a few tools in this video, if interested in them the links are bellow.

I know this is WAY late but i believe the bottom holes are there for strobes for the factory upfitting for the work/public safety trucks

2:20 I noticed on mine certain bolts were completely different that everyone elses on youtube or how to guides. I havent changed my taillights out yet, but noticed it when swapping the headlights out.

Another great informative video content! Especially, when you instruct the proper way to solder the wires together. Have you thought about installing the “High Idle Mod”? I tried it on my ‘05 F350 from the “Left Lane Diesel “ KZfaq channel but it failed. I don’t think I have the correct wire color matched. Maybe if you did it, I’d get it correct. Thanks again for all you do making your videos and look forward to seeing your next video!

Hey Nick I bought the Dorman kit 85814 from your description. When I went to install it. My connector have 3 wires. Do have any idea what the 3rd wire is for? My truck is a ‘05 F350 CC SRW. Even my Hanes manual doesn’t have an answer. Thanks in advance!
